Rihanna looked splendiferous on stage as she performed several of her hits at Day 1 ‘2008 Essence Music Festival’ in New Orleans Friday night. Her boyfriend Chris Brown also made the ladies scream during his performance in his teal pants. Kanye West also got the crowd hyped with his set. Bow Wow made an appearance at the festival. Rihanna enjoyed herself while shopping in West Hollywood Sunday afternoon. Her skull and bones hair scarf looks cute – do you all remember my skull necklace? Actually I am loving her whole ensemble. Do you hate it or love it?

Love muffins, Kim Kardashian and Rihanna have been seen rocking their Burberry Prorsum sandals, and this time both ladies wore the sandals on the same night this past Friday. Kim wore hers at Khloe’s birthday party in Las Vegas, and Rihanna performed “Take A Bow” on F’NMTV. So love muffins tell me, who rocked them better?

Friday night, Rihanna performed “Take A Bow” on MTV’s newest show F’NMTV and then hit the stage with Maroon 5 to perform “If I Never See Your Face Again”. I loved it! Rihanna – super duper sexy girl! Love muffins, I ran across a picture of Rihanna and Chris Brown grocery shopping in West Hollywood on Thurdsay and then all of a sudden, BAM! Something bright hits me. Can you guess what it was? Forget it, you don’t even have to guess, because I am going to tell you! Chris has blond hair! Chris why – Chris why? I can’t believe it didn’t hit me when I saw him at the BET Awards ‘08! Somebody must have that “Good Good” (B. Scott jamming to Ashanti’s “Good Good” at the moment) – hint hint, wink wink. Is this a do or don’t for Chris Brown?

First off, I want to say…did you see me on television?! B. Scott was on TV at the BET Awards ‘08! Let me calm down now. The stars came out and they all looked splendiferous! Usher performed “Love In This Club”, but I think he could have done better. Chris Brown won the award for Best R&B Artist – you already know he was seated next to his girl Rihanna. Speaking of Chris Brown, did you catch the performance he did with Ciara for “Take You Down”? They did that! Keyshia Cole and Lil’ Kim hit the stage to perform “Heaven Sent” and “Let It Go”. Keyshia forgot some of her words, but she still did her thing. Alicia Keys looked divine as she arrived in a cute pink ensemble – I love those shoes! She brought girl power back by bringing SWV, En Vogue, and TLC to the stage during her performance! Pure hotness! Solange worked the red carpet in her animal print sandals – splendiferous! I had a great time at her 22nd birthday party – she knows how to party! My girl Jordan made me lose my breath in her red ensemble. Cassie showed off her legs. Rihanna, the “I’m not in love” superstar, had a little chatty-chat with the ladies from The View Monday morning. Of course you know they jumped right into Rihanna and Chris Brown’s relationship.

“We hang out a lot. We’re very close. He’s an amazing person but we are not dating. We’re very close friends, though. Very, very close.”

People keep asking her the same question regarding her relationship with Chris. It’s like everyday, I read “we’re very close”. Girl, the next time someone asks you if you are dating Chris Brown, just answer with “boom chicka wah wah” to switch it up.
