Not a month has gone by without the international superstar Rihanna gracing a magazine cover. Not only is she gracing the cover of the August 2008 issue of InStyle magazine, but she is also on the cover of the September 2008 issue of Today’s BlackWoman. Her ensemble looks super duper hot, but was this the best picture they could find out of the photo shoot? I am just not feeling it. Thoughts?

Rihanna and Jay-Z performed their smash hit “Umbrella” at the ‘3rd Thisday Africa Rising Festival’ in Abuja, Nigeria on Friday night. Rihanna looked super duper hot on stage! Just look at those $1 million dollar legs! Usher also performed working up a sweat. I wonder if he sung live. Hopefully video footage will surface soon. For the month of August, three young talented splendiferous ladies cover several super duper hot magazines. Jessica Alba glows on the cover of the U.K. edition of Cosmopolitan, while Rihanna rocks on InStyle, and Jessica Biel shows her “SexyBack” smile on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar. Below is a preview of each magazine from Cosmopolitan and Harper’s Bazaar.

Jessica Alba on baby weight, Cosmopolitan:

“I never felt less sexy. I mean, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world … but I wanted to get rid of all the weight.”

Since I was unable to locate a preview for Rihanna’s article with InStyle, I came across a comment Rihanna made regarding posing for Playboy:

“I am only 20 so my mother would kill me if I posed nude…When I did that metallic body paint stuff for my video, I didn’t do it to show my body. I didn’t do it for people to like me. I did it because it was a cool visual, unexpected, and it looked hot…I have done a lot of photo shoots for magazines but it’s always great to be shot for a cover because you know that you are looked at as a fashion icon.” The Sun

Jessica Biel on marriage, Harper’s Bazaar:

“The actual idea of signing those papers and doing all this stuff … I’ve never been someone who’s like, ‘I have to, have to, have to have it’”.
