In other news, Rihanna has been subpoenaed Tuesday to testify against Chris Brown.

“Rihanna’s testimony can make or break the case,” says L.A. criminal defense attorney Jeffery Rubenstein, who’s not involved with the case. “Her willingness to testify and be truthful about what happened is a step closer to convicting Brown. On the other hand, if prosecutors fail to present a case, Geragos can seek to dismiss or reduce the charges on the spot.” People

Check out the final version of Kanye West’s new music video “Paranoid” featuring the lovely Rihanna. This version has a few extra scenes and added visual effects, but the simple changes makes the video SO much better than the previous version. I love the dark, spooky feel of the video. It sort of reminds me of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” with a touch of the movie Wolf.

According to TMZ Rihanna’s lawyer just said the D.A. told him his client will be subpoenaed at the next court hearing.

Donald Etra said Rihanna will be called to the stand to testify at Chris Brown’s preliminary hearing on June 22.

Etra says his client will cooperate and take the stand. It’s not at all unexpected that the alleged victim would be called to the stand in a prelim.

Also today, the judge rejected a motion made by Chris Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, asking for an order requiring the LAPD to ante up info regarding leaks in the case. ~ TMZ

Chris Brown is a metaphorical monster until proven otherwise. Up until now Chris Brown has remained silent about his malicious beating of his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, that occurred right before the Grammys this year. Yesterday he posted a YouTube video stating that he is not a “monster” after first talking about his new album. Excuse me! Ike Turner Jr. has not even bothered to issue an apology since the horrific beating he gave Rihanna occurred, has not announced weekly psychiatric visits that will continue indefinitely in order for him to get help for his obviously troubled mind and has not stayed away from us for at least a year and half so we don’t have to be immediately reminded of what he did. Chris Brown needs to go away until further notice until he can show proof that he is trying not to be the “monster” that savagely attacked Rihanna. Note: Since when did Lil’ Bow Wow become Chris Brown’s sidekick? If you’re in a sinking ship more dead weight is not going to help you but rather help you sink right to the bottom.
