Rihanna was spotted leaving Les Deux in Hollywood earlier this week right before her driver gets pulled over for running a red light. Rihanna sat in the car as the driver was asked for his license and registration.

On another note, a video was made based on the detective’s notes on the altercation between Chris Brown and Rihanna, courtesy of DoSomething.org.

The troubled couple are on opposites coasts metaphorically and physically as they’re “taking a break,” according to one source. The pop couple hasn’t formally broken up, but have decided that some distance between them is best.

As reported previously posted, Rihanna was spotted in New York City at The Spotted Pig with Beyonce, Brandy and Jay-Z last week. The following night, she dined at Da Silvano.

On the other end of the country, Chris Brown has planted himself in Los Angeles, working on an upcoming album at Hollywood’s Record Plant.

“He’s just putting ideas down for some songs he wrote,” says a source in Brown’s camp. “He needs to feel like he’s moving forward.”

Love muffins, rumor has it that Good Girl Gone Bad Rihanna is interested in remaking Whitney Houston’s classic movie, The Bodyguard. Instead of doing it exactly the way Whitney did it, they are going for a “younger and sexier” take on the movie.

She is also linked to a new Charlie’s Angel film, while she works on her new album. Her team are currently dismissing acting plans. Houston, 45, reached out to Rihanna, saying, “Don’t make the same mistakes I did,” following claims the Barbadian star was struck by Brown in February [Source]

I think it’s time for a change of pace since her personal life is causing more headlines then her music.

Rihanna was spotted out in West Hollywood on Tuesday night leaving hot spot, Coco de Ville. This is her first appearance since boyfriend, Chris Brown was charged with two felonies for assaulting her. Rihanna spent almost four hours inside the club, wearing sunglasses the whole time. Note: Rihanna left the club at 4:00 AM without Chris Brown.

Update I: It’s been reported that Chris Brown, 19, is in the studio recording a duet with Rihanna about “relationship issues” along with producer, Polow Da Don. A source close to the project added, “The funny thing is, the song expresses the emotions that both Chris and Rihanna are feeling at this moment – facing challenges and overcoming the ups and downs of a relationship in which you become stronger.” The two were reportedly “very playful in the studio,” according to the same source.

Update II: The identity of the woman that supposedly started the fiasco between Chris Brown and Rihanna that fateful night has been revealed. According to TMZ, Brown’s manager, Tina Davis, sent Brown a 3-part text message about “hooking up later,” sending Rihanna into a fury. Davis and Brown were rumored to be physical when Brown was only 16 – a rumor they both deny.
