Not only that, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Cyndi Lauper and Martina McBride have all joined as special musical guests! Kathy Griffin, Toni Braxton, Ryan Kwanten, Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port and the cast of MGM Film “Fame” (Asher Book, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Kherington Payne, Naturi Naughton, and Walter Perez) have all been added as presenters for the evenings festivities.

It saddens me to say that Paula Abdul will not be returning to American Idol this fall after she was unable to re-negotiate her contract with FOX. This comes after wide speculation that she would indeed not be returning to the show for the ninth season and would be replaced by judge Kara Dioguardi. Paula released the following statement via her Twitter:

“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all …being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon … What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me … It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month … I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.”

I honestly can’t believe they let her go. Do you think Idol will be the same without her?

Paula Abdul was spotted outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre for the Late Show With David Letterman in New York City Wednesday evening. However, Paula stepped out of the house looking like – boo boo the fool. Love muffins, do you hate it or love it?

Paula Abdul might seem a little crazy, sometimes, but apparently her fans are even crazier. Recently, Paula told reporters that an obsessed fan who worked at her doctor’s office stole a sample of her urine. I guess an autograph from Adbul just wouldn’t cut it.

The 45 year old, American Idol judge revealed, “Well, this is gross, but I was once at the gynecologist and my doctor said, ‘We asked you to do a urine sample, so where is it?’

“I told him that I’d left it out in reception, and when he came back he said, ‘This is really embarrassing but a man who works here is your biggest fan and he stole it.’ Needless to say he got fired. In hindsight it’s a funny story.”

Maybe the fan stole the sample to do his own drug testing to see what kind of pills Paula is taking. Who doesn’t want to know the reasons behind her wacky behavior on American Idol?

It’s weird saying this but…Paula Abdul used to be the S#!t. Now she can barely form a complete sentence and she’s known to us here at lovebscott.com as Pill-Poppin-Paula! But once upon a time she was a pop princess. Not only did she choreograph for everyone under the sun (Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, etc.) but she also had 6 #1 singles. “Straight Up” was her first smash hit and I just love the video. Word on the street is Paula Abdul could be on her way OUT of the American Idol judging chair. Anyone watching last night noticed that the third leg of the deliberating triangle was curiously absent due to a ‘family obligation’. Funny, huh? There is a buzz that another equally as crazy person could be on her way in: COURTNEY LOVE! Maybe you’re as confused as me…how could this be a positive switch?

Every shot that woman was sipping the Coca-Cola (wink wink) in her cup. And towards the end of the show one eye was wondering. There you go…celebrity feud number 12. Line them up ladies and gentlemen!” I know all the beef is helping The View get ratings but this is a bit much. Rosie should pick on someone her own size! (That only leaves Gorillas, Elephants, and Bigfoot)

Bravo drops five queers in exchange for the addition of one. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy may be ending this season, but the network’s adding a reality series currently entitled ‘Hey Paula!’ for the world’s number one pill popper, Paula Abdul. Perhaps you’re just as excited as I am to see her doing lines on her compact mirror and swishing down Valium with Jack & Coke! Can’t wait to see where that crazy comes from!

American Idol premieres tonight with a special 2 hour episode on FOX at 8/7c. In my opinion the audition episodes are probably more entertaining than the actual show. I’m sure the ratings are going to be out of control. I can’t wait to see cracked-out Paula, tight-shirt-wearing Simon, and my “dawg” Randy. Will You Be Watching?

P.S. Rumors are swirling that Paul McCartney and Mariah Carey may be involved with the show this season either as celebrity judges for one week or just helping the contestants ruin their songs. Should be interesting.

WTF! We don’t know what Paula Abdul is on but in this clip she is a STEAMY HOT MESS! Could it be pain killers, booze, cocaine, smack, weed, or all of the above? Paris Hilton and her new pal Britney Spears share the top spot on Mr. Blackwell’s 47th “Worst Dressed” list. The list is drawn up each year by retired crusty designer Richard Blackwell who picks out at least 10 celebrities and trashes them for their hideous fashion. I ABSFUCKINGLUTELY agree with the old bastard!

Spears, right, hit the clubs in full force after filing for divorce from Kevin Federline. She was often seen with Hilton, another paparazzi favorite. Blackwell dubbed them the “Screamgirls.” He also said they were “style-free,” “fashion-deprived” and “two peas in an overexposed pod.”
