If you’ve been watching The View at all for the past couple of weeks you know that Barbara Walters and Kathy Hilton are good friends. She downplays their relationship on the show by saying they are just “friendly”. I don’t know about you but people who I’m just friendly with don’t have my number or call me on a regular basis. Long story short. Paris called Barbara and told her what she wanted everyone to know about her spiritual awakening!

Barbara used to be an objective journalist, but lately she’s been making her love for the Hiltons known to the world. To top things off, Barbara is also friends with the Sheriff who reassigned Paris. Watch how Barbara punks Elisabeth when she suggest that the Sheriff might have let Paris go as a favor to the family who contributed to his campaign. Where’s Rosie when you need her?

I’m sure there will be a Barbara Walters special soon after Paris gets out.

Oh Yeah… Paris Hilton Playhouse? Are you f%$king kidding me?

As it turns out, Paris will not try to appeal jail sentence and will serve out her time as it was given to her. Yesterday Paris released this statement to TMZ.com:

Today I told my attorneys not to appeal the judge’s decision. While I greatly appreciate the Sheriff’s concern for my health and welfare, after meeting with doctors I intend to serve my time as ordered by the judge.This is by far the hardest thing I have ever done. During the past several days, I have had a lot of time to reflect and have already learned a bitter, but important lesson from this experience.As I have said before, I hope others will learn from my mistake. I have also had time to read the mail from my fans. I very much appreciate all of their good wishes and hope they will keep their letters coming.

I must also say that I was shocked to see all of the attention devoted to the amount of time I would spend in jail for what I had done by the media, public and city officials. I would hope going forward that the public and the media will focus on more important things, like the men and women serving our country in Iraq, Afghanistan and other places around the world.”

We’ll see what happens as the saga continues.

In case you haven’t heard, Paris Hilton is currently at the LA Courthouse after the judge ordered the Sheriff to go to her house and pick her up. TMZ captured a photo of her leaving. It’s kinda sad actually, but you reap what you sow.

The judge seems pretty pissed, and many are saying that the reason he wanted her to appear in court is so that she can go straight from the courthouse back to jail! Aw Well

Isn’t this what she wanted. To be famous, on every 24-hour news station, and helicopters following her every move. Be careful what you wish for love muffins, you just might get it!

Update: The judge has sent Paris Hilton back to jail to serve the remainder of her 45-day sentence!

Why oh why must they toy with my emotions like this? CNN is now reporting that Paris Hilton is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow where it will be decided if she can stay at home or return to the big house. Hours after she was released, the judge who sentence her ordered her to appear in court tomorrow. The Sheriff’s department might be held in contempt of court because legally they did not have the right to release Paris from jail.

A spokesperson from the city attorney’s office was quoted saying:

“It is the city attorney’s position that the decision on whether or not Ms. Hilton should be released early and placed on electronic monitoring should be made by Judge Sauer and not the Sheriff’s Department,”

Can we even believe this!? Paris Hilton has already left the slammer due to an undisclosed “medical condition”. The girl’s sentence goes from 45 to 23 to 3 days! She was well enough to go to the MTV Movie Awards but all of a sudden she’s sick. Could it have been a herpes flareup, is she pregnant, is it a hangnail? I wanna know dammit! Several sources claim she cried herself to sleep, and she was mortified by the full cavity search. We’re sure she’s used to all kinds of things going in her cavities, so that’s ridiculous!

Hilton has been credited with five days of time served and will spend the remaining 40 days of her 45-day sentence confined to her home wearing an ankle bracelet with a range of 3,000-4,000 square feet.

Her lawyer, Richard A. Hutton, has been working over time, going in and out of the jail in the three days she’s been there. Looks like the Hilton family had him working for his paycheck because we may see Paris back in the Hollywood spot light much sooner than expected. Before the morning is over, the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department will give us all the details in a news conference.

*UPDATE: According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept., Paris Hilton has officially been released from jail, fitted with an ankle bracelet and placed under house arrest for 40 days. The reason? Undisclosed, confidential medical issues.

Yes, Love Muffins, that is Paris Hilton’s mugshot! Despite her dire situation, she’s never met a camera lens that she didn’t like.

To avoid the paparazzi attention, Paris Hilton turned herself in to a jail facility in Lynwood late last night. That’s pretty funny considering Dane Cook who joked at last night’s MTV Movie Awards that Paris would probably check herself into jail early on account of Sarah Silverman’s harsh jokes! While I’m sure that wasn’t reason she decided to enter early, it’s still pretty funny that he said it.

Paris recently released this statement through her lawyer:

“I am ready to face the consequences of violating probation. During the past few weeks, I have had a lot of time to think and have come to realize I made some mistakes.”
