Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal may be planning on getting married, but Nicole Richie and Joel Madden aren’t, at least not right now.

“We don’t have any plans for that right now,” Madden told PEOPLE on Wednesday. “We’re just happy, and we’re being a family, and that’s where we’re at right now. But marriage means something different to everyone.”

Love muffins, I am glad that they are in no rush to get married because they have a child. Some people do get married, because they have a child and it works out fine - others get married and realize they are not meant to live with that person for the rest of their life but just only for a season. There is not right or wrong choice to make, but whatever choice you do make, please think of your happiness as well. Thoughts?

Nicole Richie Going To Work!

Love muffins, Nicole Richie is going to work after becoming mother to Harlow. She will be a guest star on NBC’s Chuck this Fall.

“Nicole auditioned for the part and was very funny,” says executive producer Josh Schwartz. “This role is a great opportunity for her to show off her comedic skills and be diabolically evil and kick some butt. It’s going to be really fun.”

She might do a good job on the show, but we all will have to wait and see. Chuck is a really good show - I am glad the writers strike is over! Thoughts?

Source reports Nicole saying that life with daughter Harlow, who was born in January, is “beyond amazing and my family has been supportive. And I go to my dad’s house all the time.”

Nicole, 26, says (father) Lionel, 58, is also meeting his grandfatherly obligations as well. “I went to Nicole and said, ‘Grandpa,’ how does that sound? Does that fit me?’ She said, ‘Dad, that sounds old.’ So I kind of searched out … G-Pa sounds a lot better.” Love Muffins isn’t it good to see these two rebuilding their relationship?

For those of you that may have missed it, Nicole gave birth to her 6 lbs. 7 oz daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on January 11 with the baby’s father, Joel Madden, by her side. Isn’t she just the cutest baby ever, congrats!

Nicole on motherhood: “It’s almost like I don’t even remember what life was like before her. She gives life a whole new meaning and a whole new purpose.”

Nicole on breastfeeding: “There’s just so much I can’t eat because she’s sensitive. I eat really bland food — chicken noodle soup, vegetables, fish. I had to cut out milk, no tomatoes, no lettuce. You think you have to cut everything out when you’re pregnant, but you really have to cut everything out when you’re breastfeeding.”

Joel Madden on his daughter: “She came out and she was crying. The doctor goes, ‘Well, it looks like you got a little girl!’ ”

Nicole Richie Has A Girl!

Nicole Richie had a baby girl today at Cedars in Los Angeles. They have named her Harlow Winter Kate Madden and she weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz. Although there is no picture of Nicole’s baby yet, once one surfaces… Trust I will be the first to report it!

Nicole’s spokesperson stated:

“The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents.”

Congrats to Nicole! Christina Aguilera is supposedly having having her baby today as well!

Well, it seems as though we have two new celebrities tiny-tots for Christ on the way! Nicole Richie is giving birth right now! Joel Madden and Nicole’s mom, Brenda, was reportedly spotted walking into the delivery area of L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center just moments ago. According to Us Weekly Joel was overheard saying, “She’s going to start pushing soon.”

Note: It’s also being reported that Christina Aguilera is at Cedars too also preparing to give birth!
