With all the drama going on today I completely looked over this! R&B star Mary J. Blige’s ninth album Growing Pains landed at No. 2 on the week’s Billboard 200, selling 629,000 copies! Congrats MJB on those numbers and having such a great quality album!

Ashlee Simpson and Mary J. Blige have one thing in common… They are both working super hard to push their new projects! Both ladies dropped by the MTV Studios in New York yesterday to talk up their current singles. Check out these pictures from yesterday!

Morning Love Muffins, I haven’t done a “Cover Wars” piece in a while so I thought I’d give you another one. I was listening to some of the bonus tracks from Mary J. Blige’s new album and one of them was “Hello, It’s Me” which is one of my favorite songs. “Hello, It’s Me” was originally recorded in the 70s by the rocker Todd Rundgren but since then has had a soul make-over by some great artists.
