Morning Love Muffins, I haven’t done a “Cover Wars” piece in a while so I thought I’d give you another one. I was listening to some of the bonus tracks from Mary J. Blige’s new album and one of them was “Hello, It’s Me” which is one of my favorite songs. “Hello, It’s Me” was originally recorded in the 70s by the rocker Todd Rundgren but since then has had a soul make-over by some great artists. So listen to the following versions and tell me which one you prefer.

Take me higher lord! The soulful R&B Diva Mary J.Blige’s eighth studio album is just the best thing since apple pie! I wasn’t really feeling her first single “Just Fine” at first as you know but that has all changed! Growing Pains is now my favorite Mary J. Blige album ever! MJB let’s herself free to be splendiferous on this album! From start to finish this album is just simply great! Love it! Well done! Don’t forget to go out and buy Growing Pains on December 18th but for those of you who can’t wait, here it is!

Jessica Alba sizzled at the Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer premiere in Mexico City in her Alexander McQueen, while Mary J, Blige ruled the Movie Rocks red carpet in her sweeping green gown. The question is love muffins, who rocked it better?

Lord knows I love me some labels but at what point does it become too much? Check out “No More Drama” R&B diva Mary J. Blige who was spotted leaving her hotel in NYC on Wednesday rocking every accessory in the book! Shades, Louis Vuitton scarf, fur coat, over-sized leather bag and matching cowhide lunar boots all together caused me to have a visual overload! Thoughts?

The Queen of Hip Hop-Soul, Mary J. Blige covers the new issue of Billboard and I must say she is looking very fierce! In the issue Mary talks about her longevity in the music industry and how she maintained a strong fan base over the years. Even if you aren’t a fan of Mary, you gotta give her credit for remaining at the top of the charts for over 13 years now! Keep working it out girl!

Her New Album Growing Pains will be released on December 18. Mark your calendars!
