My diva Mariah Carey looked super duper cute in a form fitted gown during her “I Stay in Love” performance at the 2008 American Music Awards Sunday night. Beyonce performed the hell out of “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)” – I got a little nervous for her at one point, because I was afraid her goodies would have popped out. Leona Lewis performed as well. I wonder if Leona and Beyonce would ever do a song together? Ne-Yo had legs flying all around him during his performance while Taylor Swift sounded charming. Rihanna won in the Favorite Female Artist for Soul/Rhythm & Blues Music category while her boyfriend Chris Brown nabbed several awards at the 2008 American Music Awards for Artist Of The Year and Favorite Male Artist for Soul/Rhythm & Blues Music and Pop or Rock music. Alicia Keys received an award for best Pop/Rock album for As I Am. Kanye West finally won an award for the first time at the AMA for best rap/hip-hop male for Favorite Album, Graduation.
