December 12, 2009 Mariah Carey Announces ‘Angels Advocate’ Tour + Two Remix Albums
Mariah Carey announced that she is getting ready to embark on her first major tour in over three years. The Angels Advocate tour kicks off with her New Year’s Eve performance at Madison Square Garden on December 31st. The 8-week, 19-city tour features opening act RydazNrtist, a new R&B group signed to Nick Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment label.
Also, Mimi is about to release not one, but two Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel remix albums. One, being the urban remix/guest features album, and the other being comprised of solely Jump Smokers’ remixes. News of the dual release comes just shortly after the Associated Press named Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel the fourth best album of 2009!
4. “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel,” Mariah Carey: OK, so it’s hard to take Carey seriously — she of stiletto heels, spandex dresses and girlie, butterfly motifs — but her music is always on point. On this CD, she is poignant, romantic and hilarious — sometimes, all in one song.
