Mariah and Nick @ Ellen’s 50th B-Day Party!

Love muffins check out the beaming newlyweds, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, who were among the high-profile guests at Ellen DeGeneres’s 50th birthday bash in Southern California over the weekend. Aw, to be in love!

The party, held on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank (where DeGeneres is now taping her show, after having moved from the nearby NBC studios), was set up like a carnival - complete with 10-ft. elephant topiaries, a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, carousel, dunk tank and stilt-walkers. Others who helped the talk-show host celebrate her landmark - which was actually back on Jan. 26 – included the Jonas Brothers, Paris Hilton and Benji Madden, David and Courtney Cox Arquette, T.R. Knight, and Tom Hanks with wife Rita Wilson. For entertainment, Pink sang several of her hits, the dance crew ACDC performed and DJ Samantha Ronson spun tunes as guests hit the dance floor. Snacks included red velvet cupcakes, Pinkberry yogurt, sushi and a dim sum buffet. DeGeneres, who was accompanied by girlfriend Portia de Rossi, will share clips of the celebration on her TV show set to air Friday, May 16. - People

As you already know, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon tied the knot on April 30th in the Bahama’s with an amazing view of a sunset. Their interview with People will hit stands tomorrow, but here is a sneak preview of it.

The Proposal:

On April 25 Cannon took Carey to the roof of her N.Y.C. apartment to see the Empire State Building, lit pink and lavender to honor her album E=MC². As he often did, he gave her a Ring Pop–candy shaped like a big jewel. But inside the wrapper was a 17-carat pink-diamond ring created by Jacob & Co.’s Jacob Arabo. Her reaction? “He had ribbons around it, so I said, ‘I think mine’s broken,’” says Carey. When he dropped to one knee, “she ran away and got all shy.” he says. Finally, she said yes–twice. Cannon, who filmed it all, proposed again to get a perfect take, this time on a helicopter. “That,” says Carey, “was beautiful.”

The Ceremony:

Mariah: We got married at sunset on the beach. We were trying to get the really golden light. It was late–of course I was late, it’s just in my DNA. We had a white carpet on the sand that went to the water’s edge. My pastor Clarence Keaton flew in from New York. The whole wedding was really beautiful and sweet. Being there with loved ones under the sky… it was a spiritual moment.

The Honeymoon:

Mariah: That was being here [in the Bahamas] after the wedding. Some friends stayed, too, but it was really time for Nick and I to be together.

The Tattoos:

We got tattoos!” says Carey. “His is on one shoulder to the other and it says ‘Mariah.’” And hers? “It’s on my lower back and it says ‘Mrs. Cannon,’” she says

It’s Official! Mariah And Nick Are Married!

Love muffins, I received an email that People.com had exclusive photos from Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s marriage - and my source came through. Lord have mercy kelly clarkson eddie murphy! It looks like the truth has been revealed through these photos. It’s official! They did tie the knot on April 30th!

“We really do feel we are soulmates,” Carey tells PEOPLE, following their sunset ceremony at the pop star’s Bahamian estate. “I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me.”

Cannon adds: “She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside.”

Mariah Carey recently debuted the video for her latest single, “Bye Bye”. Her body continues to look amazing and the video is filled with a mix of home videos and standard beauty shots. Of course there is a lot of Nick Cannon in the video - which is sure to add fuel to the fire of their recent marriage rumors. Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Get Marriage License in Bahamas?

People has confirmed that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon has obtained a marriage license on the Caribbean island of Eleuthera, Bahamas.

According to marriage requirements for the Bahamas, a couple must be in the country for at least 48 hours, be over the age of 16 and have obtained a valid marriage license within 90 days, explains Monique Gomez, a Bahamian attorney in Nassau who specializes in family law. The source says that Carey did obtain a license in Eleuthera within that time period. And clarifies Gomez, “The minister would make sure [the license] goes into the registry. It’s still a valid marriage even if it’s not filed. Anywhere in the world.” The New York Post reported that the nuptials took place at Carey’s private estate off Eleuthera. Carey owns an estate on Windermere Island, which is an exclusive Bahamian island where the British royals vacation. Though there has been no official confirmation of the wedding, Linda Cannon revealed to E! Online, “He called and told us all about it.”

Love muffins, I’m not going to believe this until Mariah or someone on her behalf officially confirms it.

Update: Mariah’s appearance on “The View” which was scheduled to be taped on Monday, May 5th, has been canceled. No further details were given about the cancellation or about a new date for the taping. - Mariah Daily Journal

Update II: A representative at the island’s register’s office told MTV News on Friday that she has no record of a license in Carey or Cannon’s names.

Nick Cannon Is Mariah Carey’s Decoy?!

A little birdie who just zoomed by my ear told me that Nick Cannon is serving as the decoy to distract everyone from Mariah Carey’s real engagement and marriage to Mark Sudack! Who is Mark Andrew Sudack? Sudack (born 1976) is Mariah Carey’s co-manager, and co-executive producer of the 10x platinum The Emancipation Of Mimi as well as her latest album E=MC2. Formerly director of marketing at Arista Records, then director of marketing for Carey’s now defunct label MonarC Entertainment. According to my source, Sudack and Carey have been dating for 3 years, experienced a brief breakup at some point within the last year, reconciled, and now have been married at the home Carey just bought in Eleuthera, the Bahamas. So love muffins do we believe this little birdie or not? Or is this just a huge fabrication for a special episode of E!’s Pop Fiction?

Don’t Believe Everything You Hear!

Love muffins I just can believe this! A source close to Mariah Carey has confirmed to Access Hollywood that the she’s engaged to Nick Cannon.

Reps for both singers were unavailable for comment. The couple sent the rumor mill into overdrive when 38-year-old Mariah (with Nick on her arm) was seen sporting a dazzling new piece of bling on her ring finger at the after party for her Tribeca film, “Tennessee,” in New York. When asked at the party what he loved about Mariah, 27-year-old Nick gave a one-word answer. “Everything,” he told People. Up until recently, Mariah had been romantically linked to music executive Mark Sudack. However, she never confirmed the romance. Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 – 1998. Nick was previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007. However, the couple called off the engagement that same year. This will be the first marriage for the “Drumline” star.

Well, all I have to say is that I know my Mimi and she’s most certainly not engaged to Nick Cannon! “Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear” as grandma B. Scott would say!

Love muffins, could it be that our MiMi is a bride to be? It has been reported that Mariah Carey, which has been rumored to be in a relationship with Nick Cannon, was given (now get in to this love muffins) a 20 carat ring! Ring the alarm! Nick went up to Alaska and chipped off a glacier and put it on Mimi’s finger! Take me higher lord! According to People.com, “wearing a humongous, gleaming ring on her left hand, Mariah Carey stayed close to Nick Cannon at the afterparty for her new film, Tennessee, on Saturday night.” It is also reported that she is wearing the ring but has yet to give an answer. Let’s hope for the best for them because we know she deserves all the happiness in the world.

Mariah Carey - ‘Live With Regis And Kelly’

Love muffins, after Mariah Carey performed at Good Morning America, she made a stop at Live with Regis and Kelly still rocking her pink mini from earlier that morning. I can’t stress how divine she looks in that dress! She makes me want to hit the gym right now! Take me higher lord! Also, Mariah attended the 7th Annual Tribeca Film Festival for the premiere of her new movie Tennessee in New York City today. Might I add, she looks stunning in her dark denim jeans and a simple white top.
