Mariah Carey looks absolutely divine on the set of her new video for “Obsessed”! The diva has hired top-notch director Brett Ratner, who is responsible for many of her hottest videos, including “We Belong Together”, “Heartbreaker”, “Touch My Body”and “It’s Like That”. The first day of shooting was held behind closed doors on the fourth floor of The Plaza Hotel in New York City. The overall concept of the video is a secret, and there are reportedly “many surprises” that Mariah’s camp doesn’t want to reveal just yet. The video is set to premiere on July 13th and when it does you know you’ll be able to find it right here on LOVEBSCOTT.COM! Check out Mariah Carey’s new cover from her upcoming CD, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel. Looking just splendiferous Mimi recaptures the classic beauty of her Butterfly album era on the cover of her upcoming CD, Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel, in-stores August 25, 2009.

As per her Twitter page Mariah explains the reason behind the album cover.

MariahCarey: The reason I chose to use 3 images for the cover is cos there are a lot of different emotions and stories revealed on this album. I knew it might leak 2day so I figured might as well give it a nice debut:) Hope “You like this and you know it”(sung like “its like that” haha

Mariah is one of the many celebrities that have expressed there heartfelt sorrow over the sudden death of the King of Pop and music icon, Michael Jackson. Mimi posted the following message on her Twitter.

I am heartbroken. My prayers go out to the Jackson family, and my heart goes out to his children. Let us remember him for his unparalleled contribution to the world of music, his generosity of spirit in his quest to heal the world & the joy he brought to his millions of devoted fans throughout the world. The wait is finally over! Mariah’s hot like fire new single “Obsessed” just debuted on Chicago’s B96 radio station. Im beyond excited and I cannot wait for Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel to drop! My diva Mariah Carey attended the Apollo Theater’s 75th Anniversary Gala on Monday evening in NYC. Prince, Jamie Foxx and Fantasia Barrino attended the event as well. I’m surprised that Jamie and Fantasia didn’t lock lips again like Jamie and Halle did at Spike TV’s 2009 Guys Choice Awards . Do you remember Jamie and Fanny sexing up the stage some years ago at the 2006 BET Music Awards?

This has just officially made my day! Mariah Carey has unveiled via Twitter that her new single “Obsessed” from her highly anticipated album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel will impact radio next Tuesday! The lead single was a collaboration between none other than The Dream and Tricky Stewart.

I can’t wait! I’m sure my fellow love muffins and lambs are just as excited as I am!

The beautiful Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon attended the 2009 Fresh Air Fund Salute To American Heroes at Tavern On The Green on Thursday in New York City. According to Turkish daily newspaper, Gazete Vatan, Mariah Carey performed only four songs in Turkey over the weekend for a whopping $1.5 million dollars. Additionally the pop diva scored a $100,000 diamond butterfly ring as part of the deal! Now that’s what I call having a good agent!

Mariah Carey performed only 4 songs during the night and she got 1.5 million dollars in return. The world-famous singer who talked about her butterfly-shaped ring she wore on the stage said, “This is a gift from Ismailov family for me.” It was reported that the ring costs around 100,000 dollars.

The fascinating finale of the night was ended by Mariah Carey. Carey, who got all the guests on the dance floor, and the guests later on continued their night at the “Monkey Bar”.
