Nineteen year-old actress Evan Rachel Wood who’s seedy affair with Marilyn Manson that was rumored to have soured his short-lived marriage to dancer Dita Von Teese captivates the pages of Arena magazine; opening up about love, being a teenager and her music career.
ERW on her future music career:
“I’m probably more passionate about music than acting, but I don’t want to do it half-assed. And when I do, I get to deal with the rumours flying around that my boyfriend wrote all my songs and that I’m just using him for a singing career! Won’t that be great?”
ERW on life as a teenager in this day and age:
“You know everyone’s so worried about teenagers, sex, STDs — just talk to them! Educate them! I keep putting down MTV, it’s not solely their fault, but there’s not really any music on it any more. We did our music video and it was banned. And then I turn on The Real World or something, and it’s full of people getting drunk, having sex and not even remembering it the next day, and they act like it’s no big deal. It’s stupid.”

Keira Knightley graces the October issue of Allure magazine and dishes on using body doubles, fame and the red carpet.
KK on picking a body double:
“[’Pride & Prejudice’ director] Tony [Scott] called me into his office, and there were three very beautiful women standing there completely naked, and I can’t quite keep my eyes off bits of them. And he said, ‘Which one of them do you want, then?’ I did pick a very beautiful bum.”
KK on whether she thinks the fame, money and acclaim will ever go away:
“Oh, it will, it will. Jesus, if I know one thing about the industry, it’s that it’s a moment. A flash in the pan. That’s what’s lovely about it. But it’s hard, because one moment you’re the hot thing, and the next moment — you’re not. And there’s no rhyme or reason for it.”
KK on the red carpet:
“I hate red-carpet events; I absolutely hate them. I don’t like the fact that people write, ‘Oh, you look like crap’ in print. Or ‘I don’t like your arms!’ I’m not Wonder Woman. I have self-esteem problems. Everybody does. You know, skinny people are allowed to feel sh*t about themselves.”
