After finally confessing that she is in a relationship with her gal pal Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan has made it known in the November 2008 UK Edition of Marie Claire that she indeed wants to adopt a child.

“At some point, I want to adopt a kid as well. A child in need or a newborn from another country. I’m not sure yet.”

She doesn’t have a problem with the world speculating her past and current relationship, because she insists that she is happy.

“People can think what they want. I’m really happy and that’s all that matters…[Samantha's] a great person. But I think that anything that’s changed in my life is because of me. I’ve gone through it and I’ve had to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward. So, yeah, she’s a great person.’

Lindsay Lohan went to Barneys in Beverly Hills to shop with some friends on Friday. Even though her girlfriend Samantha wasn’t attached to her at the hip, I am sure Lindsay was thinking about her. Did any of you catch the Ugly Betty season premiere Thursday? I am not sure what I think about Lindsay’s performance – it was more on the so-so side for me.
