Love muffins, sad to say that Keri Hilson’s debut album In A Perfect World… has been officially pushed back an early 2009 release.

“I didn’t want to do an album that painted me perfect,” she said. “What’s missing in music is just that: showing the vulnerable side of women, the real. Showing women you can be yourself. You don’t have to walk around like your sh*t doesn’t stink.” Billboard

Right now her singles aren’t doing so well, so maybe this will give her record label some time to release hit singles. Thoughts?

Keri Hilson has finally premiered her new music video “Return the Favor” which features Timbaland off of her upcoming album In A Perfect World…. I love the video! I love everything about this video. I hope Keri has a successful album – her voice is amazing! Thoughts?

Ciara looked super duper cute at the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards at The Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center on Saturday in Atlanta hosted by T-Pain. Her second single to follow up “Go Girl” is rumored to be “Echo”. Hopefully, this album will echo the success of her first album Goodies. I loved her second album, but I think people slept on that one. Keri Hilson also attended, but I am disappointed that she chose those shoes to complete her ensemble – no ma’am! The lovely, the divine Kerry Washington looked absolutely gorgeous! Work it Kerry! T.I. and Lil Wayne also attended the event.
