Keri Hilson attended the Charlotte Ronson Spring 2010 Fashion Show at Bryant Park on Friday in NYC. She wore a Charlotte Ronson Fall 2009 black one-shoulder mini dress. She accessorized her look with a leather glove and patent leather platform pumps.

On Monday, singer Keri Hilson was featured as the BET ‘Rising Icon’ which is a new special on BET focusing on the rising new artists in Black music. Keri was honored in New York City and celebrated with celebs such as The Dream, Christina Milian, Debra Lee, Idris Elba, Ryan Leslie and more. Last night’s premiere episode of ‘Rising Icons’ featured soul/jazz singer Chrisette Michelle with next week premiering the Keri Hilson episode. Check out the pictures after the jump.

Prince’s new album, Lotusflow3r, sold exclusively through Target, leads early sales figures. Whether or not it will debut atop the Billboard Top 200 next week remains to be seen – it sees strong competition from country act Keith Urban.

In other music news, the 30th installment of the Now series opens at the top of this week’s Billboard Top 200, selling 146,000 copies. The compilation features singles by Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and the PCD. The Hannah Montana soundtrack debuts in the number two slot, selling 139,000 copies. Hannah Montana: The Movie opens in theatres April 10th. The Twilight soundtrack enjoys a 37% spike in sales to 102,000 for the week. Songwriter Keri Hilson sees her debut album, In A Perfect World… open in the fourth spot with 94,000 copies. Rounding out the top five, Kelly Clarkson’s All I Ever Wanted moved 52,000 copies in its third week of release.

Okay Love Muffins, its time for a Cover War! A few days ago I posted the Keri Hilson version of “Hey Girl” ft. T-Pain and Lil Jon. I talked a bit about the controversy surrounding the song and mentioned how the song was scrapped from Keri’s album and given to up-and-coming girl group, The Paradiso Girls. Earlier today, The Paradiso Girls’ version of the song (renamed “Patron Tequila”) hit the net. It’s pretty much the same, except for T-Pain is no longer featured. Personally, I enjoyed Keri’s version better – her vocals are stronger and I think fit the song better. The Paradiso Girls sound too over-processed and don’t seem to have any real vocal skill.
