Page Six is reporting that Jive, Brit-Brit’s record label, were knocked off their rockers when she backed out of a duet with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. The record label was counting on this duet to be a part of her big comeback, but Brit-Brit didn’t want to do it.

The song was written by Justin, so all she had to do was fly to Virginia Beach to record her part and at some point Justin would record his.

The source stated:

“She’s looking for a comeback, and this would have not only been a huge hit, but something she could have opened the MTV Video Awards with and really blown everyone away.”

“Listen, everyone is worried. In her mind, her album is done and she’s done enough work . . . She’s an easy target right now, because she’s . . . sick. People like her are sick. It’s like an anorexic who’s sick in the head and needs help. She needs help. It’s sad because what she’s got – and we’ve heard it’s like bipolar disorder – can easily be treated with medication, but she won’t do it.”

Folks came out to celebrate the NY opening of Southern Hospitality—Justin Timberlake’s stab at Memphis style in the Big Apple. Justin looks hella crunk! Clearly he’s ready to bring in all of his celeb friends for dinners and big parties. The all important question is—how’s the food? If it’s wack, it’ll be shut down before you can say fried chicken and a biscuit!

Justin Timberlake is seeing dollar signs everywhere. Shiver-me-timbers is preparing feverishly for the opening of his new restaurant in NYC next week. The dining digs will be called “Southern Hospitality”. I wonder if he’s trying to get full urban street credibility by opening up a soul food spot? Or, will the cuisine be more American traditional?
