A few weeks ago, Jessica Simpson wore a t-shirt that read “Real Girls Eat Meat”. That didn’t make the folks over at Peta too happy, and evidently animal rights activist Pamela Anderson isn’t too happy either. Speaking to an Australian radio station, Pamela said:

“I think she is a bitch and whore. Actually, I don’t know if she was talking about food or men.”

As we all know Jessica Simpson is dating Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo. Well, in a recent outing with Tony, Jessica was mistaken for his ex-girlfriend, Carrie Underwood! (Jessica Simpson has pulled away from her pop tunes to dive in deeper into her country roots, ironically enough!) She was approached by a fan, of Carrie’s, after she left lunch at Dos Caminos in NYC’s SoHo on June 11, according to OK! The fan asked for an autograph and commented, “I’m your number one fan from back in the ‘Idol’ days” a witness explained! Jessica reportedly held her own and, of course, did not honor Ms. Underwood’s fan’s request for an autograph! Take me higher lord! Jordin Sparks hit up Six Flag in Maryland on Friday and she looked like she had a good time in the water ride. She makes me want to dangle my feet in the water. Thursday night, Solange celebrated her album release presented by HENNESSY in NYC. That rock on her finger is super duper cute! Cheers! Love muffins, it looks as if Jessica Simpson is coming out with a lingerie line. They will not be hitting department stores until spring 2009. Despite her ditzy image on her former reality show MTV’s Newlyweds with ex husband Nick Lachey, it seems she is quite the business woman. Her shoe line made a reported $225 million last year alone. But the real question is would you wear her underwear?

“This is her first country album, and she wanted to send home the message that despite her previous pop stuff, she’s just a country girl at heart,” the pal says.

Take me higher lord! So instead of letting the music speak for itself, she sporting plenty of cutoff jean shorts, cowboy hats, and boots. This is a big effort to reinvent herself – I say more power to you for trying to do it. Madonna has done it for over 20 years, maybe Jessica can pull it off. Thoughts?
