Jessica Biel attended a screening of Easy Virtue, hosted by The Cinema Society and The Wall Street Journal with Jaeger-Lecoultre and Brooks Brothers Monday night in New York City. Jessica recently appeared on Saturday Night Live to introduce boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s performance of “Love Sex Magic” with musical guest Ciara.

“I had an idea what it was going to be like, but I didn’t see anything until the actual dress rehearsal where they have an audience and everything,” Biel told MTV News while promoting her upcoming film, Easy Virtue. “So, it was also a surprise to me.” US

Did you all get a chance to see Justin and Andy Samberg in their new SNL Digital Short, “Mother Lover?”

“We should f— each other’s mothers?” Said Biel, “I thought it was amazing. I mean, it was so wrong, it’s right. Just so wrong, it had to be right.” US

JT and his lady love Jessica Biel attended the “The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art Monday in NYC. Love muffins, is Jessica’s red Atelier Versace Spring 2009 ensemble a do? Kate Hudson attended the Cartier 100th Anniversary in America Celebration at the Cartier Fifth Avenue Mansion Thursday night in New York City. She was blinged out in an amazing Cartier sapphire platinum necklace. Jessica Biel was there, sans her smooching buddy, JT at her side (but he was there).

Rumor has it that Justin Timberlake and girlfriend Jessica Biel plan on having a small wedding ceremony in Italy this summer. He was recently spotted looking at engagement rings.

“Justin was really taking his time looking round the rings. He made the staff get a couple out of the cabinets so he could properly look at them,” says a source

If they get married, I wish them the best.

Thoughts?

We like shorter lengths for the Vanity Fair Afterparty.  Claire Danes wore Zac Posen, which hit two big trends – lace and nude – to create a look that was party-friendly but still sophisticated.  Kate Bosworth knows that sheath dresses suit her tiny, tiny figure.  She looks fresh in this sparkly Alexander McQueen number.

Always a beauty, but this time, Natalia Vodianova looked like she got in a cage fight with a vicious animal.  She may be more comfortable on the runway, which is where this Calvin Klein dress should have stayed.  It’s far too editorial for the red carpet.  Jessica Biel’s Christian Lacroix dress might have been fine, but the gold rouched belt is overkill.  Too 80s, and with that pretty face, she needs to learn that simplicity will only work in her favor.

These ladies looked stunning at the Oscars last night!  Whether in colors that popped or pale neutral hues, the pursuit of glamour was all about finding what worked best for their skintones and bodies.  Freida Pinto (of Slumdog Millionaire) dazzled in the perfect shade of blue, and John Galliano’s design had a Bollywood feel without looking overdone.  Anne Hathaway sparkled and accentuated her shape in this sequin fishtail gown by Armani Prive.  Natalie Portman was a standout in her ethereal bold pink Rodarte.  Taraji P. Henson looked lovely in Roberto Cavalli, with a sweet smile to match.

Others were not quite so elegant.  Amanda Seyfried’s giant bow fiasco was not flattering (Valentino).  Sophia Loren wore what appeared to be a 16-year-old’s debutante gown.  Beyonce (who we love unconditionally) could barely breathe in a House of Dereon dress seemingly constructed from vintage drapes.  And Jessica Biel (in Prada) – we can’t see your lovely figure under that excess fabric.  Better luck next year!
