According to PageSix, THE private room being held for Jennifer Lopez at North Shore University Hospital is finally occupied. Monday, we reported the room, which is furnished with a leather couch, had “been sitting empty for two weeks” in preparation for the pop diva’s twins. But a recent patient at the hospital told Page Six that during her visit, staffers were aflutter, exclaiming, “J.Lo is here!” A rep for the expectant songstress did not return calls for a comment.

I can’t wait for J-Lo to give birth. I hope it’s a boy and a girl… then she can dress them in matching Gucci outfits and things, too cute!

J.Lo on retirement: “I don’t know — and I like that, because my life has been so planned for so many years. Once I did the tour, I really just wanted to shut it down.”

J.Lo on her husband, Marc Anthony: “He made me realize you can be an artist, and have credibility and success, without your life being on public display. This is my experience and my husband’s experience, and we get to hold that for a little while.”

Being the optimist I am, I usually try to approach everything in life with a positive attitude but sometimes you gotta call a spade a spade. For every high expectation I had this year, there were equally horrible disappointment waiting around the corner. Nothing seemed to embody this sentiment more than Britney Spears at the VMAs. After Jennifer Lopez officially announced at her last stop on tour with husband Marc Anthony that she was pregnant, recent reports reveal that J.Lo is indeed, expecting twins! While, she hasn’t revealed a due date, it seems like the babies are living the high life, and they haven’t even been born yet.

In the top-secret baby registry at the exclusive, Los Angeles baby boutique, Petit Tresor, there are some definite signs that J.Lo will be expecting a boy AND a girl. Congrats, honey!

The cheapest item on the gift registry is the Adiri Natural Nurser at $22, but Lopez wants 10 of those. Judging by the list, being one of J.Lo’s friends doesn’t come cheap. Looks like those babies will definitely be living the diva lifestyle that mom’s accustomed to. Designer Diapers and diamond encrusted bottles are probably next on the list.
