Love muffins, Jennifer Hudson’s brother-in-law, William Balfour, has been arrested in the murders of Jennifer’s mother and nephew.

“He is awaiting formal charges for three counts of murder,” a police department spokesman told E! News. “There likely will be a press conference once there are formal charges against him.”

However, Balfour’s defense attorney insists that his client is innocent.

“He vehemently denies that he is guilty in this case,” Kutnick said. “Any evidence pointing to Mr. Balfour is not even thin. It is very, very weak.”

On Monday, Jennifer Hudson who was joined by her sister buried their mother, brother, and nephew/son during and invitational only service in Chicago. Fantasia Barrino sung “Your Grace and Mercy” according to the Chicago Tribune, as she took Jennifer’s hand.

“I think it healed Jennifer’s soul just then,” family friend Lisa Allison told the Chicago Tribune. US

My thoughts and prayers are still with the Hudson family. They need to find the murderer who did this!

After Tiffany Pollard a.k.a New York heard about the tragic news regarding Jennifer Hudson’s family, she made a video to send her condolences. I believe Tiffany is not trying to get an kind of attention from this. Thoughts?

Update: Love muffins, I am about to bust out in tears. The body of Jennifer Hudson’s kidnapped nephew has been found – deceased. I just don’t understand what would make a human being kill a 7-year-old child!

On Sunday, Jennifer Hudson posted on her MySpace blog thanking her fans and asking for a safe return of her nephew, Julian King, after hearing the horrific news that her mother and brother were shot to death just days ago.

“Thank you all for your prayers and your calls. Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately…Once again thank you all for being there for us through this tough time.”

She is offering a $100,000 reward for his safe return. My prayers go out to her friends and family and to her. This is just horrible! What is the world truly coming to?! CONTINUE READING

Update 2: A suspect has been arrested in the deaths of Jennifer’s mother and brother. The suspect is refusing to cooperate with cops or supply info.

Update: Jennifer’s sister has been reported missing! According to TMZ, her sister’s employer stated that she worked her shift, but hasn’t been seen since. Jesus take the wheel!

CHICAGO (WLS) — The mother and brother of singer and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson were found shot to death inside a home Friday. Police have confirmed Hudson’s mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, is one of the deceased. The other victim has been identified as Jennifer Hudson’s brother, Jason S. Hudson, 29. The home where the bodies were discovered aruond 3 p.m. Friday is at 7019 S. Yale in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood. Property records indicate the home belongs to Donerson. –
