Janet is back! Earlier this evening the video for Janet Jackson’s single “Make Me” premiered during 20/20 and let me tell you that Miss Jackson is giving me everything I need! The video is simple, classy, and sexy. Not to mention, her dancing is on point as usual. There’s just something about this song that makes me wanna shimmy & shake like there’s no tomorrow. Her next studio album is due out next year, but for now you can go out and pick up her brand new greatest hits collection, Number Ones, which is in stores today!

Janet Jackson gave her first TV interview since the untimely passing of her brother Michael this past Wednesday on ABC. In the interview she talked about life after MJ, her ex-boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, and her upcoming greatest hits album. Janet’s TV special earned the network fairly high ratings, coming in as the 2nd most watched show in its time slot with 6.7 million viewers.

Her VMA MJ tribute performance reminded me how much I love Janet and how much I’m anticipating her next project. What better time to drop a new song? I absolutely love this song…it’s classic Janet at her finest! Doesn’t this song just make you feel good? It looks like I’ll be up all night getting my shimmy and shake on!
