Hilary Swank’s Small Growth!

Hilary Swank is recovering from a minor medical procedure to remove a small growth.

Swank was “experiencing some discomfort and went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalization to remove a small, benign growth,” manager Jason Weinberg says People

I am so glad to hear that it was nothing serious and that she got it taken care of quickly. The only thing I noticed is that they never said where the growth was removed from. A few years back when she was doing Million Dollar Baby, she had a problem with her foot. Things that make you go hmmmm. Thoughts?

Hilary on being in love with her boyfriend, former agent John Campisi: “Of course I’m in love. Or I wouldn’t be in this relationship for as long as I’ve been. He’s a great guy.”

Hilary on Jeff Robinov’s, the president of production at Warner Bros., alleged claim that they will no longer be doing movies with female leads due to recent box office duds: “Who knows if Jeff really said that or not. I think that’s still up for debate. He says he didn’t say it, and I know that people attribute things to me that I didn’t say. But speaking in general, I think it’s really naive to say, ‘Oh, a woman’s vehicle is not successful,’ because men’s movies have failed at the box office too. Look, I don’t want to name names, but there’s been lots of movies starring men—with big names!—that didn’t do well.”

Hilary on why she left New York City: “I looked and looked and looked for a place in New York. I just didn’t find anything. Prices have just skyrocketed!”

Hilary on the 45 supplements she takes everyday in addition to her vitamin injections: “This is my Aloe C, which I dissolve in water. Here’s my flax. This one’s for my immune system, and this one is my BrainWave—it’s great, like if I have a lot of lines to memorize. I just took my most important ones, which are my Oz Garcia Longevity Pak. I shoved them in my mouth right before I met you, which I actually shouldn’t do, because I choked on my vitamins once before.”

Hilary on her metabolism: “I have a really high metabolism. Exercise is also really important to me. I think it gives me more energy. I would rather sleep six hours and get an hour workout than sleep seven hours.”

Hilary on her crazy schedule: “In the past four and a half weeks, I’ve been to London, Texas, Chicago, China, New York, L.A. and New York again. You know, it’s tiring, but I can’t complain, because I’m getting to do what I love.”

H.F.P.A. Annual Luncheon: Arrivals

A bunch of A-list celebrities came out yesterday to accept donations on behalf of various nonprofit groups and charities at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual luncheon in Beverly Hills. An amazing $1.2 million in grants was given to film schools and non-profit organizations! Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Charlie Theron, and Hilary Swank showed up in full effect to announce the grants and make acceptance remarks on behalf of the recipients.

Charlize Theron stunned in green and don’t forget about her upcoming movie, In the Valley of Elah, which comes out on September 28.

Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony both looked splendiferous and appear to be going strong.

Hilary Swank showed off her lean muscular physique poolside at the hotel Regina in Rome today with her boyfriend John Campisi. I wonder how many crunches she does a day? Her abs are nothing to be played with; you could grate cheese on them!
