HD on why she is so well-adjusted:

“It’s just who I am as a person. Plus, how my mom handled me. I didn’t get special privileges growing up, and I didn’t get everything that I wanted and I wasn’t the one supporting the family, so I wasn’t like the boss. I think that has a lot to do with it. And then growing up around lots of young people that were so talented or were on the brink of being really talented, and seeing them get involved and not really having anyone around to tell them how to handle it, or what to do.”

HD on whether she ever looks at Britney and thinks “that could have been me”:

I don’t look at them and think “that could have been me” because I’m me and I’m not like that. But you never know why that is. I know that it can be really hard and there’s lots of pressure with everyone watching you. But I don’t think that excuses some behavior.”

Other than the apparent lack of singing, Hilary Duff pulled off a cute performance during last night’s So You Think You Can Dance episode. What do you think love muffins?

“The most important thing on my list (for boyfriend requirements) would be that he has to be in the business, so he understands how hard it can be, with the lifestyle. “He has to have other interests outside of work. He has to be adventurous and teach me new things, and have a strong faith, and make me laugh, and be cute. I’m kind of crazy, so I like boys who don’t take themselves too seriously,” she added.

Remember when Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan were feuding over Aaron Carter? Those were the days. Hilary’s video for her new single, “Stranger” just premiered and it’s kinda hot. I’ve never been a Duff fan because she doesn’t have a strong voice to me. But I must admit I like the dance/pop direction she’s taken with her past two singles. She looks great in the video and I love the Indian influence throughout. Enjoy love muffins!

Hilary Duff is such a work horse! She was spotted yesterday in an elaborate genie ensemble while on set of her latest video, Stranger, in Los Angeles. Reportedly Hilary has enlisted the help of choreographer Fatima Robinson to direct her sexiest video yet with intricate dance moves for each scene. On June 1 TRL and MuchOnDemand will have a first look for Stranger.
