Charlize Theron attended the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s 36th Gala at Alice Tully Hall Monday night in New York City to help honor Tom Hanks. While she was at the event, she talked about how beautiful Salma Hayek’s wedding was in Italy on Saturday.

“I’m really happy for them and they’re just a beautiful couple,” Theron told Us Monday at a Film Society of Lincoln Center event honoring Tom Hanks in NYC. “We’re really good friends, and it was really a celebration of love — that’s what it was really about.” US

I am so happy for Salma! As far as Charlize’s ensemble, I am on the fence about it.

The western movie (based on a novel by Robert Parker) was directed by Ed Harris which centers around two friends who are hired to defend a town from a murderous rancher. Also that night in New York City, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez and Selita Ebanks attended the Cinema Society and Dior Beauty screening of Battle in Seattle at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room. The movie accurately depicts the street protests that shut down the 1999 meeting of the World Trade Organization. A bunch of A-list celebrities came out yesterday to accept donations on behalf of various nonprofit groups and charities at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual luncheon in Beverly Hills. An amazing $1.2 million in grants was given to film schools and non-profit organizations! Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Charlie Theron, and Hilary Swank showed up in full effect to announce the grants and make acceptance remarks on behalf of the recipients.

In the movie he plays Robert Neville who is the last man alive that busies himself with preparing for a nightly attack from the rest of the world, all of which have transformed into blood-thirsty vampires.

Now, the former fresh prince has just signed on to star in Tonight, He Comes, a “superhero love story.” Will plays a womanizing, alcoholic, chain-smoking, crime fighter with image problems. In the role he has to portray a truly angry man which could prove challenging for someone who always plays the nice guy.
