Charlize Theron attended the Film Society of Lincoln Center’s 36th Gala at Alice Tully Hall Monday night in New York City to help honor Tom Hanks. While she was at the event, she talked about how beautiful Salma Hayek’s wedding was in Italy on Saturday.

“I’m really happy for them and they’re just a beautiful couple,” Theron told Us Monday at a Film Society of Lincoln Center event honoring Tom Hanks in NYC. “We’re really good friends, and it was really a celebration of love — that’s what it was really about.” US

I am so happy for Salma! As far as Charlize’s ensemble, I am on the fence about it.

“I realized that this f—ing show is huge,” Theron told MTV News Monday while promoting Battle in Seattle. “Now I’m going to ask you a question: Why? “Why is it so big?…It’s about nothing! This is a free country. Freedom of speech! You can tell me right now to my face that Reindeer Games was a piece of sh–. That’s totally fine…But The Hills is about nothing…I think the girls are beautiful and when they cry their mascara runs and that’s real, but I don’t get it! I am a nana. I’ll just take it. I am a nana. Maybe I need to watch the shows some more.” US

I do enjoy the show, but we know the show is scripted which causes some of the horrible acting. What are your thoughts on MTV’s hit reality show The Hills?

Renee Zellweger and Courteney Cox Arquette arrived at the premiere of Appaloosa which took place at The Academy Theatre Wednesday night in Beverly Hills. The western movie (based on a novel by Robert Parker) was directed by Ed Harris which centers around two friends who are hired to defend a town from a murderous rancher. The movie has a wide release date of October 3, 2008. Are you a fan of western movies? Will Viggo Mortensen and Renee Zellweger get you to fill up the seats at the movie theaters? Also that night in New York City, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez and Selita Ebanks attended the Cinema Society and Dior Beauty screening of Battle in Seattle at the Tribeca Grand Screening Room. The movie accurately depicts the street protests that shut down the 1999 meeting of the World Trade Organization. It is good to finally see Michelle out and about since she has been working on the fourth installment of the The Fast And The Furious franchise. Thoughts? Charlize Theron and her super duper cute longtime boyfriend Stuart Townsend attended the Battle In Seattle screening in Malibu, California hosted by W Magazine Sunday afternoon. Most of what Charlize wears is stunning, but this casual black ensemble doesn’t sit well with me. Maybe it’s the gladiator sandals she’s wearing. Did you happen to catch Charlize Theron’s E! Will Smith and Charlize Theron appeared on MTV’s TRL Tuesday afternoon in New York to promote their new movie Hancock. They have been promoting this movie non-stop! I would be too if I was in a movie. Somebody call B. Scott to be in a movie! Hancock will be in theaters next Wednesday and you already know I am going to be there!
