Many celebrities came out to the 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night. Reese Witherspoon looked gorgeous while Carrie Underwood looked fit and trim at. She was feeling nervous about performing that night, because the People’s Choice Awards is “so big, and there’s great competition. I’m nervous and so excited at the same time,” as she talked about being up for favorite female singer and country song. Just like all her other performances, she did an amazing job. Carrie Underwood recently mentioned in the September 2008 issue of Allure magazine that her ex-boyfriend Tony Romo, who is now dating Jessica Simpson, still calls her.

“We were both small-town people doing very big things, and we relied on each other, dealing with fame,” she says of Romo. “I don’t know. The phone will ring and it’ll be him, and I’ll maybe not answer.” US magazine

However, Jessica decided to bring attention to the “lies” that Carrie told on Nashville’s 107.5 FM’s on Wednesday.

“I looked at his call log…Tony and I both laughed at that,” Simpson said. “We got a chuckle out of it.” She went on, “If Tony wanted to call her and be with her, he would.” US Magazine
