The super sexy video accompanies the hot-like-fire lead single from The Singles Collection, which is a compilation of Brit’s greatest hits (due out November 24th). She looks absolutely radiant in this video and the choreography is definitely a step from from what we’ve been seeing…but it still isn’t 100% Britney. Not to mention, she still relies heavily on her backup dancers to do the more complicated steps. Come on Brit-Brit! You’re almost there…

Congratulations are in order for Miss Britney Spears! Her new single “3″ has reached the #1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 after selling 255,000 downloads. The picture you see is the first look from the upcoming video for the song which should be premiering within the next few weeks. Britney posted this message to her Twitter:

The still reigning Princess of Pop Britney Spears and actress (even though she hasn’t been doing much of that lately) Lindsay Lohan were spotted out and about around town recently. Britney Spears who just announced the addition of singers Jordin Sparks and Kristinia DeBarge to her tour lineup was snapped during an appearance at M&M’s store in New York City on Monday, while Lindsay Lohan was spotted in West Hollywood early Tuesday. Britney Spears arrived at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards earlier today where she received the “Ultimate Choice”, a lifetime achievement award for her contributions to pop music. Doesn’t Britney look stunning? It’s great to see her happy and healthy again.

UPDATE: Britney Spears will NOT be performing, only appearing. According to her rep there was a miscommunication between the Teen Choice show reps and the Spears camp.

Can you believe it? Britney Spears is scheduled to perform at this years Teen Choice Awards (she’s also scored 3 award nominations)! I honestly was starting to lose hope that we would ever see her perform at another awards show after the infamous “Gimme More” performance back in 2007. Even though she’s not quite the performer she used to be, I’m still super happy she’s back and I’m still rooting for her! The Teen Choice Awards airs next Monday at 8pm ET on FOX.

Right before her concert at The Staples Center in L.A. Friday afternoon, Britney Spears was escorted by officers so she would make it to her concert on time. Truly no reason to clear a path and disrupt the flow of traffic, right? It looks like Sarah Jessica Parker might be reaching out to Britney Spears to be in the upcoming sequel to the smash hit movie Sex and the City:The Movie, according to MTV.

Sarah Jessica told friends: “My idea is to have someone like Britney Spears move to New York as my cousin or niece and Carrie would show her the ropes.”

It really can’t imagine Britney in the sequel, but who knows. Sarah just might be throwing out suggestions. In other Britney news, her third single “If You Seek Amy” might be banned from certain radio stations because it sounds like F*CK Me. I can slightly see how they could come to such a thing, but the song shouldn’t be banned. Thoughts?
