New Music: Brandy - Dig This

Brandy is coming back and I’m loving it. “Dig This” is a song she did for Tyler Perry’s upcoming movie Meet The Browns. The soundtrack doesn’t hit stores until next week (March 18) but for your listening pleasure we have Brandy’s hot new track. The song is a sultry mid-tempo song about truly being vulnerable when you’re in love. Just from listening it sounds like a Bryan-Michael Cox or Johnta Austin joint but I don’t know that for sure so don’t quote me. I think Brandy fans will really enjoy this one. I just can’t wait for her album to come out! All I have to say is that I’m “Digging This”—for real!

Brandy Has A Great New Do…

Love Muffins, get into Brandy’s new hair style. I like this very contemporary version of a “bob.” Tres chic… It looks good on her.

Other stars well known for the bob are Victoria Beckham and Rihanna. Jenny McCartney never gets any credit for her fab cut… but flashback to the “Me, Myself and I” video from Beyonce’s Dangerously In Love album and you’ll remember - Beyonce could arguably be given credit for being the original diva to bring this style back en vogue.

Either way - Brandy looks great!

Brandy Is Cleared!

Brandy will not be facing charges for vehicular manslaughter! The L.A. City Attorney came to the decision to not file any charges. Today was their deadline. The accident happened about one year ago when Brandy’s car hit the car in front of her. The woman in the car, Awatef Aboudihaj, died. TMZ reported earlier that sources claim Awatef hit the car in front of her and that’s how she died. This is AMAZING news. I’m not going to lie when I first heard about Brandy allegedly killing someone my heart went out to her and her family! I’m so happy for her! This is a great day for all Brandy Fans across the country!!!

Dead Woman at Fault In The Brandy Crash!

Well isn’t this a new development! TMZ has learned that Brandy may have been a victim, not a culprit in the car accident that resulted in a woman’s death, listen to this!

A CHP source tells TMZ the woman who died in the car accident involving Brandy actually struck the vehicle in front of her before Brandy made any contact. The law enforcement source says Awatef Aboudihaj, the woman who died, struck the car in front of her — which was going 65 mph, and then slammed on her brakes. We’re told the sudden stop caused Brandy to hit the dead woman’s car.

What’s more, L.A. County Coroner spokesperson Captain Ed Winter tells TMZ that toxicology reports show Aboudihaj had “slight traces” of marijuana in her system at the time of the crash.

The L.A. City Attorney has until the end of the business day on Friday to decide whether to file criminal charges against Brandy — that’s when the one-year statute of limitations runs out. Wow, now I feel bad for Brandy she went through all of this (bad press, kicked off America’s Got Talent, etc.) and it wasn’t even her fault! Damn.

Should Brandy Be Charged With Manslaughter?

December 30 marks the one year anniversary of the fatal multiple car accident R&B singer Brandy allegedly caused and has YET been charged! Sources are saying that plans to make a decision at the very last moment. If charges aren’t filed, chances are the public wouldn’t notice over the holidays and the case would quietly go away. Bill Sayed, lawyer for the victim’s husband, Marouane Hdidou. Sayed questioned the delay, saying,

“There is a death and obviously reckless driving involved, which is enough evidence for an involuntary manslaughter charge. As to why the City Attorney has taken this long? I think we would all like to know.”

Love Muffins I’m worried about our Brandy! Just like you, I love her music and I really hope all works out for her. I understand a life was taken by her actions, but does she really need to be charged with involuntary manslaughter? Thoughts?
