Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z (not pictured) departed a cocktail party celebrating Sean “P.Diddy” Combs’ appearance on the “Black on Black” cover of L’Uomo Vogue’s October 2008 Music Issue held at the 1OAK Nightclub in New York City Wednesday night. In the November 2008 issue of InStyle magazine, she admitted that she gained almost 15 pounds during her role as Etta James for her upcoming movie Cadillac Records.

“I gained almost 15 pounds to play the role. It was way easier — and tastier — than having to lose so much weight for Dreamgirls. I also studied Etta’s mannerisms and tried to make them my own. My performance, my posture — everything was so different from who I am. It was difficult.” Source

Love muffins, you better get ready because the best tour of 2009 might be crowned early. Beyonce and Solange have decided to tour 110 cities beginning next April. Rap-Up.com reports that the ladies will hit up Canada, Europe, the U.S. (with a one-week stint in Las Vegas), Mexico, South America, Japan, Africa, and Australia. Make sure you get a copy of Solange’s sophomore album SoL-AngeL and The Hadley St. Dreams and Beyonce’s upcoming third studio album I Am… on November 18th so you will know all the words to each song.
