Angelina Jolie has spoken out about her weight loss in Grazia saying that the negative coverage of her skinny frame did bother her because her weight loss was spurred by her mother’s death, not some skinny-minny fixation or eating disorder.

“The thing that’s disturbing is that instead of people saying, ‘This looks like a person that’s actually dealing with something, probably from emotions,’ they say, ‘Does she fit into skinny jeans and look thin?’” Jolie said.

“I want people to understand who I am as a person is not somebody that’s trying to look thin, but just trying to work through a very difficult year,” she said.

I admire Angie for speaking up against all the negative criticism out there. I’m sure there are a lot of people out there who have been in similar situations where emotional strains have affected their physical and/or mental health. We shouldn’t always judge a book by its cover, love muffins.

Brad Pitt (who turns 44 years-old) today did a interview with Charlie Rose airing tonight, and when asked if he and Angelina Jolie are still planning on a dozen kids, as Angie once said, Brad replied, “I think we’ll crap out somewhere between 7 and 9.” “Are you serious?” Rose asked.

Pitt confidently insisted, “Yeah, somewhere in there, we’ll crap out.”

Um…. that’s still a lot of children and isn’t “crap out somewhere between 7 and 9″ an awkward choice of words, thoughts?

Reese Witherspoon, 31, who earns between $15-$20 million a movie, has topped The Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of the highest-paid actresses. Angelina Jolie, 32, came in second, with a similar amount, though she only made $8 million for Beowulf. Third place goes to Cameron Diaz, 35, who cashes in about $15 million per movie. But can you believe that she took home $30 million for the third installment of Shrek this year. Work ladies!

(Almost half the ticket sales came from 3-D theaters.) This is exactly the box office success that Angelina needed due to her last big screen venture, June’s A Mighty Heart, being a super duper flop.
