As with any year, there were plenty of albums released in 2007. But only a few were able to tickle my fancy. Some of these albums moved my soul, others touched my spirit, and others just made me wanna hit the club house. In the end, I don’t really care how commercially successful the album was. The only thing I care about is if it made me groove. So here’s my list of 2007 best albums (in no particular order).

Being the optimist I am, I usually try to approach everything in life with a positive attitude but sometimes you gotta call a spade a spade. For every high expectation I had this year, there were equally horrible disappointment waiting around the corner. Nothing seemed to embody this sentiment more than Britney Spears at the VMAs. My Love Muffins know how I stuck my neck out for ther and then…well we all know what happened. Let’s hope next year ends on a more positive note. Here’s the video to remind you of the atrocity.

Who or What Disappointed You Most This Year?

A friend told The Daily Mail “Amy has been desperate to escape England and forget about her troubles for the past couple of months,” said a friend.

“But she didn’t want Blake to feel any more alone or abandoned than he already does so she’s waited as long as possible before booking anywhere.

“Blake has given her his full blessing as he knows how stressed and out of sorts she has been of late.

“The plan is for Amy to have a sunshine break, enjoy a few cocktails – and stay away from drugs.

“She has already made a few new year’s resolutions and hopes the trip will become a turning point in her life.”

Singer Amy Winehouse apparently needs to be watching her back after it was revealed that jailed gangsters are threatening to kidnap her! The threats are alleged to have been made to her husband Blake Fielder-Civil who is currently in Pentoville Prison awaiting trial.

According to the News of the World, 25-year-old Blake, who is on remand for alleged assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, was told his wife would be kidnapped if he did not pay £100,000. A source at the prison told the paper he had been ordered to pay the money into a secret bank account or the Rehab singer would be snatched.

All I got to say is somebody needs to kidnap her a$$ to save her from herself!

Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been arrested in connection with an investigation into disrupting the course of justice. Sky’s crime correspondent Martin Brunt said:

The Back To Black star was arrested “by appointment” at a police station in east London. She later left the station after being bailed until March. “It is not an unexpected move,” Brunt said. “Her husband has been charged with grievous bodily harm against a pub landlord. He was then further charged with perverting the course of justice. “It had been speculated that police might have an interest in any allegation about his wife’s potential involvement.”

Well, I can’t believe they let her a$$ out! They need to lock her up for a good six months to save her from herself, forget her husband – Amy needs an intervention!

Amy Winehouse could face a lengthly jail sentence, which could reach LIFE, because of new discoveries in the case that link her to Blake’s arrest. The UK’s The News of The World say “the distraught diva will be finger-printed and required to give DNA samples because police believe they could link her to crucial documents at the heart of their investigation into an alleged conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.” Evidence found in Amy’s Camden house suggests that the millionnaire bee-hive-haired star may have been involved in the $400,000 pay off given to barman James King to change his story after he was beaten by Blake after a pub brawl last June in Hoxton, London. Amy has vowed to commit suicide if she receives a lengthly stay in jail and there are rumors she and blake have even signed a suicide contract together.
