Amy Winehouse performed at the Brit Awards tonight and to my surprise wasn’t that bad. Her performance of “Love Is A Losing Game” was actually on point except for the dance moves – I really hope she pulls it together completely because she’s a one of kind talent that I pray doesn’t go to waste! She also performed with Mark Ronson along with Adele and Daniel Merriweather which I also enjoyed!

Despite being granted a visa to enter the United States and perform at Sunday’s Grammy Awards, Amy Winehouse has decided to stay in London and perform via satellite, a wise move for a lady trying to stay sober!

“Unfortunately, due to the logistics involved and timing complications, Amy will not be traveling to the U.S. to perform at the Grammys in person.

Amy would like to thank all of those people, in particular the staff involved at the U.S. Embassy in London, who have all worked so hard to expedite her application. She is looking forward to being a part of the 50th Annual Grammy Awards with her Sunday night performance and to going back to the U.S. soon.”

Check out a surprising good-looking, Amy Winehouse, who cleaned up today to go out with hey daddy (Mitch) in London. Mitch is reportedly staying in the same house with the soulful songstress in order to prevent her from using drugs after the video of her getting high surfaced earlier this week.

Amy Winehouse’s record company has just issued a statement stating that she’s in rehab! Take me higher lord, The Sun reports has finally admitted that she has a drug problem and needed help. Wow, that’s a huge step Amy!

“Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors. She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction and prepare for her planned appearance at the Grammy Awards. She is nominated in an incredible six categories.”
