A few of our love muffins weren’t feeling the new album cover for AK’s album, As I Am, as shown in our previous post. Take a look at a few other photos taken by the same photographer Randall Slavin. She looks gorgeous, although it’s hard to make out much of her features due to the darkness in the photos. At the same time, that’s what makes them haunting and beautiful. If you as an AK fan could’ve picked any of these photos for her cover, which would you choose?

Alicia Keys debuted her new single “No One” from her upcoming album As I Am. After listening to the song once I can say it is a lot gritter than her previous songs and I really like the direction she’s going into. Alicia Keys’ voice always carries a lot of passion and you can really hear it on this song. It’s sort of reminiscent of a Lauryn Hill joint. Enjoy Love Muffins.

Alicia Keys – No One (Updated)

Music is in need of a true R&b artist! Alicia Keys has been missing for a while now, and her new album—As I Am—will hopefully be a refreshing return to real, true lyricism and talent. She announced that “Noone” will be the first track off the album, which is set to drop on November 6. On her blog she said:

“It’s a bit unexpected and something that completely surrounds you, engulfs you and sweeps you away. I hope it makes you feel good and strong and passionate and makes you scream the words at the top of your lungs. I hope it does things to you!!!!”
