As part of her promotional tour for her new album Rated R, Rihanna stopped by Good Morning America this morning where she performed her new songs “Wait Your Turn” and a guitar heavy “Russian Roulette,” as well as her past hit “Umbrella”.

I really dont like her anymore after this whole Chris Brown incident. it’s funny how she went on all the shows talking about him and that he had no soul when it happen. she’s not telling what she did to him. i’m not justifying a guy beating his girl but I dont think he would have just flipped and whopped her ass for nothing. People close to them said she used to hit him all the time.

What gets me about all the people assuming a man wouldn’t hit a woman without being hit first, is that they will – almost in the same breath – insist a woman hits a man without being hit. That’s a double standard, to me. It’s like saying “women are abusive for no reason (or because they’re just emotional and like to slap people), but there’s no way a man can be.”
Abusive people, including men, do hit people without physical provocation. Abuse is about power and control. I’m mad at you = I hit you = you’re beneath me = you’re under my control.
