November 23, 2009 2009 AMAs Winner’s List
In case you missed it, I’ve got the complete list of winners from last night’s American Music Awards. Taylor Swift was the evenings grand winner. She took home 5 out of the 5 awards she was nominated for including Artist of the Year, where she beat out Michael Jackson. MJ fans shouldn’t be too upset because the King of Pop took home 4 AMAs including Favorite Male R&B Artist and Favorite R&B Album. The legendary Whitney Houston took home the evenings top honor, International Artist Of the Year.
In other Whitney news, Ms. Houston is getting ready to celebrate her 25 year career by releasing a special 25th Anniversary edition of her debut self-titled album. The newly repackaged album (which is due in stores this January) will be fully remastered and will contain new remixes of some of her hit songs. It’ll also come with a DVD complete music videos, Whitney’s first ever televised performance, and a brand new interview with Whitney and Clive about the album.

Jennifer Lopez with the lip singing and her FALLING was a hot mess
Lady Gaga – is pure gimmick, put christina aguilera on that stage she would VOCALLY CRUSH her. She’s the new Cyndi Lauper—her 15 mintues of fame are almost up. Didn’t we see this 15 years ago with madonna?
Whitney Houston– why didn’t she do Million Dollar bill and rock it like she did on Xfactor????? Why do a ballad that she “talked thru”. BAD performance
Alicia Keys should have left it at the Jay Z duet. Her music is just lackluster now. All that “homewrecker stuff” is getting to her
Janet Jackson-”i’m her biggest fan”. ok, let’s loose the weight, focus, and get a redbull and dance…last nite was OK, but the lip singing was off, the weave was off, and she was HUGE, not good. How do you go from INCREDIBLE dance performances all over the world to basically a TIRED Britney performance.
