Now dont get me wrong I love Beyonce just as much as the next fan….but that being said this video was all over the place to me and dare I say it, a little sloppy. And like you B i did not get the concept at all the guns randomly firing for what exactly? It was just a little weird and not in a good way to me.

Lady GaGa was the one chick in the game that I said could fuck with Beyonce. After seeing this video, I’m not so sure about that.

B im sorry but i was not pleased AT ALL! First off, whats up with the play guns and blank shots coming out looking like they’re in a paint ball match.
2.) it was ALOT of improv going on. I was hoping to see more routine dance moves.
3.) GaGa looked well doing the dances but was kinda stiff
4.)Bey needs to step her cookies up, because this vid looked like a first grader made it!!!
5.) UGH! I was expecting so much more!!! And what is up with this right eye covering movement going on? Bey does it, so does gaga and rihanna. SMH

GROSS. Just gross. Sorry but Beyonce has hit a new low. There’s a difference between being sexy and being slutty. Watching this just made me miss Aaliyah all over again. Hell, I even prefer Lil Kim to this! It’s like she’s degrading herself for someone (probably that nasty camel she’s with) instead of expressing her sexuality the way God intended her to.
Reminds me of the dirty performances Tina Turner used to do with Ike. Later she said she regretted doing it because it was dirty and ugly.

damn, i hate when vids premiere overnight, b/c then they get yanked before i can see them on my fave blogs! oh, well, i went and saw it somewhere else, but came to b. to comment, LOL.
my thoughts: blah, blah, BLAH! i’m so not into it… def doesn’t live up to the hype in my opinion. ever since the vid for “bad romance” dropped, i have a new standard for videos, lol. and also, this reminds me far too much of the video she did for “check on it.” to be fair, tho, i don’t like “video phone” the song, and never have, so that effects how i feel about the vid.
also, i know i’m going to take serious hits from bey stans, but i’ll try to just lay it out as i see it… she takes other people’s badass styles but then can’t do anything with them. it’s like when j.hud out-shined her at the grammys: bey is only a bad bitch when she stands alone. put anyone powerful next to her and she disappears. again, that’s just my opinion, but i just think that’s a weird part of beyonce. i love her videos, but hate when she’s w/ someone else.
now, that said: i’m going to watch “bad romance” again and patiently await the vid for “telephone.”

I love BOTH Bey and Gaga….but the video was just alright to me. It’s NO Bad Romance (which was so dooooooooooope, artistic, visually stimulating, I could go on).
Bey completely overshadowed Gaga in this video, and Gaga’s voice is stronger (sorry Bey Stans, but it’s true!) Gaga is also waay more edgy and Bey having Gaga in her video was a GREAT look for, Bey…not so much for Gaga.
Gaga is currently KILLING everyone in the game right now. This video may have took a few notches off her belt. Where’s her people?! (I will say this, those Knowles sure know how to keep a bish down, when Bey’s stardom is threatened!) LOL

I’m sorry but this video was just pure BULLSHIT!!! I mean what the hell was Beyonce’ thinking??? The concept of the video was very unclear and it’s just not up to par with her creativity level. I think this video is horrible and I honestly can not believe she even let this out. And who told her that lookin like a video hoe was ok? I like Beyonce’ but she went way downhill with this one. She should have left Lady Gaga’s song alone if that’s how she was gonna portray it in a video(bc it was her’s before it became Beyonce’s). And on another note…She should have left Destiny’s Child in the past…the ghetto look is soooo not the look for her anymore.

I am really feeling Beyonce fashion in this video. I mean it showed her realness just look at how she dresses every day and every where else she’s just too boogie dressing for me and for her to show her rawness is actually good sometimes. Overall the video just was a video it didnt’ scream anything spectacular to me just another FUN yet safe video. She knew it was lame thats why she threw that dance routine in there to try and save it.

IT’S A DAMN MUSIC VIDEO! the primary purpose of a music video is to add images to the song. a video doesn’t need a story line. and you guys are dumb if you don’t see the concept. the concept and intent is pretty obvious to me. it’s just about the FUN, effects, crazy/cute costumes, and performance. WHY is that so bad now? yes it’s a good thing for a video to have a story but it’s not a negative thing if it doesn’t.
plus the song is sexual and of course Beyonce is going to portray that. whats so wrong? why is everyone a prude when it comes to B? another artist could do the same thing but when beyonce gets sexual and shows some skin or dances a certain way it’s such a problem. HATERS! haha.

The video actually does have a concept, just the average person wont get it. That happens with beyonce a lot (i.e. the Get Me Bodied video was a scene from the musical the Fruge). There’s a slight undertone of “I Am Woman; Hear ME ROAR,” with the video which plays homage to Bombshell Betty from WWII, hense the guns and the bangs and the “pinup” look. Take a closer look and you’ll see Quienten Tarrentino’s Kill Bill in there lol… Yeah, I’m sure people missed it, but everything’s not meant to be got. This is classic Sasha Fierce lol
