A new song from Rihanna’s album leaked online last night. “Cold Case Love” was produced by Justin Timberlake’s production group, The Y’s, and is probably the most direct shot at Chris Brown on the entire record. I don’t understand why its a ’shot’ at Chris Brown because she is writing about what she experienced ‘with’ Chris Brown. Why are media outlets continuing to make these two young people pitted against each other?
The discourse desperately needs to change. They had an experience, and they are talking about it. Some are so desperate for a blood fest, these two will never heal in the glare of the spotlight.

I totally agree with Really?. I dont see this two as going at each other, more or less finally expressing feelings regarding an awful occurance. I love this song and I feel a bittersweet maturity in Rihanna’s songs. Go Rih Rih, sidebar:::: her cd snippets are making me want that cd.

You know I’m really excited about this item. It’s definitely Rhi Rhi’s growth album. Every artist has one. It’s different, it makes you think, and it comes out of turmoil. The best music in my opinion.

This track makes me want to go write a song. Very great use of metaphors. Don’t plan on getting her album, but I really enjoy this track.

I was trying to avoid all links to songs from her coming cd…. I preordered the cd and want to be surprised when I first listened to it…. but I heard this track and to I love it would be an understatement. By no means do I think this is a gid at Chris just like I don’t think all his songs are about Rihanna persay.
I agree with Really? So many want these two to go back and forth with shots and sidetalk about the other but I don’t see it happening. If folks, blogs, celeb shows, mags stop throwing the other in when talking about one they would be able to heal and move on from this situation. I can only hope it happens soon because I am surely tired of hearing about it.

^I totally agree, I haven’t been listening to anything, but I went ahead and listened to this and it is excellent! I fell in love before it was over!! I listened to the clips on amazon I can’t wait!!
