UPDATE: Lady Gaga’s hot like fire track “Telephone” featuring Beyoncé has just been added. The darkchild produced club banger is miles better than the “Video Phone” remix and it’s guaranteed to make you shimmy & shake!
We may not have the music video yet, but the remix just hit! Beyoncé and Lady Gaga teamed up and gave us the “Video Phone (Extended Remix)”. Honestly, I’m not sure if I’m a fan of Gaga’s contribution. She doesn’t seem to add anything to the song. I like the extended instrumentals and extra ad-libs though…
In any case, I’m still excited for the video!

“video phone” is by far one of my least fave tracks of the ’sasha fierce’ album, so i was never going to be blown over by the remix, but i’m ONLY interested in it b/c of the addition of gaga, so there you go. i will say, though, that gaga said when she laid down her vocals she was trying to emulate bey’s singing style and be the “gaga version of beyonce ~ call me gayonce” LMAO. which she def did, but which isn’t the best use of her skills, imho. anywho, still looking forward to the vid b/c we know gaga is The Business.

Bscott, this is why I love you! I been wondering when I was going to hear this song. There was definitely a lot going on with it; but I kind of like all that extra stuff. Honestly I didn’t think Lady Gaga would fit with the song but I think she did good. Overall I like it, I can’t wait to see the Video

I’m a big fan of both ladies, and this is just ok……….. I like the extra ad-libs like B. said…………. but other than that, I didn’t see where GaGa enhanced the song at all!

the beginning was fire, i liked the new intro…i think its gonna be another single ladies..i LOVE beyonce but when single ladies came out i didnt know how to feel it, then she made the vid and its been played on my ipod…(875) times to date lol.. i think the video is gonna be fire..plus its beyonce and lady gaga it cant be nuthn but hot!!

The beginning set me up to believe it was a complete re-recording, then I was instantly let down. “Video Phone” is my least favorite song from Sasha Fierce, as well, so I was hoping they did something completely different like the remixes of Bootylicious. I differ from everyone else – I think Lady Gaga’s first verse added a lot to the song because she was singing full voice. It was a contrast to Beyonce’s delivery, so I liked it because the song seemed less lazy. I’m fan of singers using what God gave ‘em. As far as the rest of the song … still snoozing. And the end? My honest first reaction to the panting was “ridiculous.”

I agree 100% with Kayce. One of my least favorites of the album. GaGa is the only thing that made me want to listen. Her part is ok but yeah, it could have done without. It just sounds like they put GaGa’s over the original, which they did, which they could have done and blended much much better.

I LIKE THIS SONG and Lady GaGa just makes it even more catchy!!!!! They are the best in the music industry right now. Beyonce is the Veteran and GaGa is the Rookie. Anyone who commented just to hate on Bey or Gee, you can up and leave [rhyme]. LOL

I love both songs. Gaga added a lot to the entire feel of Video Phone and I would like Telephone even if Beyonce was not on it but the fact that she is is freaking amazing, I think its epic and the video will shut all the haters up. Also, Beyonce has the biggest hater-base for a reason. Its not because she cant sing, its because she can sing and in a variety of different ways. If they ever perform this it will be the best thing ever because they are the top performers right now.
Also, I will die if Telephone gets a video too. A gay can only dream right?
