Why does she choose outfits that would scare small children? She’s not an ugly girl, and she has a banging body…the least she could do is dress decently. I know she likes to be edgy, but there’s a limit to that.

still tryin to figure out why this child keep covering her face. You notice the lace face and so distracted that you forget from the neck down.

The way that veil is on her head with all that blonde hair it almost makes you think her head exploded and their is smoke coming out from behind the veil! LOL!!! Just my opinion of course……

Hi Jen -
I think Lady GaGa is as much about creativity, Vision, Marketing, Attention grabbing and Imagination as she is about Music and Entertainment. It would be weird to me, if she tried to fit in. The fact that so many people are talking about what she wears, or may wear, appears to support my opinion. Even if you’d never heard her music, the media has successfully spun her as “that girl in the crazy outfits”. That keeps her current, relevant and interesting to her demographic.
….just my 2cents.

there’s nothing creative or visionary about grabbing whatever you see and putting it on – children do it all the time. Or covering up your face – robbers do this one. I can say it’s about marketing and attention grabbing, but at the same time, it gets old quickly. Do you remember the last person with the title “that girl with the crazy outfits”? she’s not the first, nor will she be the last to make that “statement”.

Interesting; yet somehow she’s managed to grab your attention, if only negatively to the point that you’ve formed this detailed opinion about her. I’m not tripping. I just think of it as art and self expression, and in my book.. there’s no right or wrong. There’s no rule or judgment. It’s simply Art. And to me, Art = What you think and your personal expression.
I don’t think she’s trying to win a contest or to recreate the wheel. I think she’s just trying to compete in the Pop World; and that, she is definitely doing. And for the record, I’m not necessarily a Fan of hers. But I’m not an enemy or a judge either. I applaud all Winners all the time. Comments and Opinions are easy. Actually doing it, like she is, is the hard stuff.
All Love.
John.
