October 29, 2009 New Music: Alicia Keys – Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart
Alicia Keys is set to drop her new studio album, The Element of Freedom, on December 15th. The project’s first single “Doesn’t Mean Anything” isn’t performing as well as most of us would have expected, so it’s only fitting that we now have the second single from the project. “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” is another mellow jam & I actually like this one a bit more than the first single. I hope it does well!

It reminds me of Halo crossed with I Love Always Forever by Donna Lewis, even though it’s a different song. Sounding like older songs is never good, but I still like this one.

not tottaly feeling it but this song its way better ,I always have tought that shes a great writer ,composer and producer ,,but not a great singer and sometimes she fails to deliver ,,

I AGREE WITH JENN…. I DON’T KNOW IF I’M IN THE EARLY TO LATE 80′S
OR EARLY 90′S ….BUT I LIKE THE SONG VERY MUCH.. REMINDS ME

Now thats Alicia Keys! Idk what the first song was but this song right her eis def. a smash in the making! Its a bit more edgy and reminds me of the 80s pop/R&B.
