October 22, 2009 Mariah Performs ‘Stripped’ In NYC
Mariah Carey performed an intimate gig in NYC for iHeartRadio’s ‘Stripped’. She performed “Always Be My Baby”, “We Belong Together”, “I Want To Know What Love Is”, and “H.A.T.E.U”. Vocally, she sounded great. She had great balance between her vocals and the vocals from background singers. I actually prefer watching Mimi perform in smaller venues and I think she needs to go ahead and do a small venue tour.

Her manager tweeted something about a Vegas residency, so you may get your smaller venues wish! And I may end up spending a lot of money going to see her every night in my town:)

Mariah, Mariah, Mariah! Not to get off topic but there is a reason why the album is tanking. She doesnt listen. Fashion plays such an integral role in music today. The album was destined to fail from the cover alone! Who poses in an A-shirt for their album cover? Its time to class it up or sit down. You can be sexy and classy at the same time. The 90’s is over and I hope this is a wake up call for her. Maybe she doesnt care she’s still mega rich. But I know deep inside she wants to beat that Beatles record and she can if she only humbles herself to change. She’s her own worst enemy.

Rob please fashion has nothing to do with it. Barbara Streisand has never been a fashion plate and she came in number 1. Most album covers don’t even show the artist full body to make a judgement on their fashions. Regardless of how much the album has sold it’s still a really good album. If only record sales reflected the quality of an album. They don’t especially in todays’ market.

Oh please Rob. Mariah always has the best album covers. People are buying because they have forgotten what real music is. They probably believe someone like Beyonce can sing better than Mariah.lol Like that could ever happen.smh

I Love Mariah. I’m listening to her new album now. When I first heard it I was a little thrown off but you no what i listen to it everyday. I don’t always agree with her personal choices but I love her music and thats all that really matters to me. She’s a agrown woman and she can do what she pleases, LOVE YOU MIM!
