October 19, 2009 New Video: Alicia Keys – Doesn’t Mean Anything
Last week we were given a small taste of what to expect from Alicia Keys’ brand new video for “Doesn’t Mean Anything”, and I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect other than that she would look absolutely stunning. Alicia hit us with another simple, yet sophisticated video that doesn’t draw too much attention from the song itself. It’s not my favorite video, but hopefully this P. R. Brown directed clip can give her single a boost on the charts.
Check out the video after the jump!

I LOVE IT ..I love me some Alicia Keys yes I do, yes I do. The video is simple but beatifully done and it captures the emotion of the song perfectly. The song itself is a pleaser alone so the video is just an added bonus..she is on a roll..this pulls the strings of my heart once again..go Alicia..luv it!

I agree, this wasn’t my favorite video from her but she does look amazing and I love the concept with everything vanishing throughout the video. I was actually thinking that her man would be at the top of the mountain waiting for her & they would have this passionate kiss at the end. However, she was all alone, so I thought it was nice how everything came together. I like it.

Oh wow, I really enjoyed this video…love the way she appears, the color on her especially, the way things disappear in video when she sings the chorus and love the end as Alicia looks out from the summit all alone as she says nothing is worth having. Alicia’s talent is undeniable.

I love the video, but I was lukewarm on the song! Now it’s getting better..I’m still trying to figure out if she’s going for an alternative rock vibe on this album?
And I’m thinking: Her makeup is kind like that rock video with Jack White for the James Bond soundtrack Another Way To Die.

I don’t love the song but I like it. I’m not a millionaire so I can’t really relate to that part of “Having it all”. It’s cute though. The video was kind of boring but she looks beautiful.

BOOOO BOOOOOOoo BOOOOO
I seem to remember Usher making a similar video and it sucked too.
How do you go from looking super fine in a pent house, to hanging out on some cheep looking green screen set???
She could have walked down the street with a handi-cam and made a better video!!! Boooo!!!! Does money make you completely oblivious to bad video treatments! c’mon!

I don’t know how i feel about the song and the video. I mean i watch this video and compare it to “No One”, and it’s almost like what happened? I don’t know if the song is supposed to be sung like this to show a certain emotion, but i don’t know. She has amazing vocal talent, and i don’t feel it was fully here in the song. Looks great of course though =]
