October 19, 2009 Jam It? Or Slam It? Lady Gaga – Bad Romance
Here we have the finished, finalized, version of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.” An unfinished version has been floating around for a few weeks now and I wasn’t too thrilled with it, but Lady Gaga assured us that the final version would be much better. Well, she lied! It still has Red One’s typical, stale, production and it sounds like a rehashed version of “Pokerface.” This makes me question what exactly she’s going for on this re-release because I was under the impression that the new songs were going to be really different. If they are, then the label is trying to play it safe and keep it radio friendly with this poor single choice.
Love muffins, do we jam it? Or slam it?

the production is still slightly different, she’s stepped up on her vocals, and you can tell that it’s not as safe as her original stuff – her scream-singing is more predominant like in her live stuff. (which i actually love)
also, the fact that she rocks it out in French at the end is just killer-diller.

I completly agree B.Scott this song is crap.. It sounds like a watered down version of Just Dance.. She has way better songs on her album than this.. I cant believe shes already messing up..

Actually,, i heard the warpped one that came out first and it did suck… then during her snl performance i really didnt understand where she started singing the song cuz it sounded like pokerface… but now after hearing the completly finished version i love it,, this is completely gaga’s style of electropop and this song is a definite 10/10,,

She has reached a new low. Her other songs are awful but this one takes the cake and also her new one “Alejandro”…she’s the worst artist ever. She has NO talent. She is combining two of the beats to her other songs while she recites awful lyrics and what makes it worse is that she has to go “ra ra oh la la gaga”…WOW. I agree with Mike! she CANNOT SING! Mariah can ACTUALLY sing! and she gets barely anyone buying her flawless album and yet a bunch of brainwashed people will go and by Gaga’s re-release.

Jam it. Strong, powerful production. Lady Gaga is a different type of artist than Britney or Mariah, so I’m not clear why people are trying to compare.

i’m going to say “jam it” even though i kind of agree that it’s a tad pokerface… of the leaked “monster” tracks, this is my least favorite, but i still like it. i like the world-y feel of the tracks so far. i’m into it.

I love tis song. Albeit, I agree 100% that this songs very similar to Poker Face. However, this is the type of music I LOVE. No, not brain washed. Not delusional. This is just MY type of music that I love. Jam it jam it jam it. Mariah CAN sing but who’s sitting pretty at number 1 lately?
You honestly cannot down GaGa for making “Radio friendly” songs when you beloved miss Mariah is trying hella hard to make “radio” hits but is failing.

Laughin’ my ass off at all this tomfoolery. People trying to compare Gaga and Mariah now? Please. Tell me you are joking. They are two entirely separate artists with entirely separate styles and voices from entirely separate genres of music. They can’t be compared. Not because one is “better” than the other, but because they have nothing remotely similar that CAN be compared. Y’all need to cool your jets and calm down. No need to bring Mariah into this topic.
With that said.. I think this song is okay. It is growing on me, but I do think that is is VERY Poker-Face-ish. I’m sure it will sit atop the charts anyways, because anything Gaga touches turns to gold in the mainstream music scene as of late.

I love it! I think this song is way better than poker face. It’s edgier* and much more interesting. I’m not even a fan of Gaga but I’ll give props where props are due. This song is awesome!

This song is catchy but every star burns out eventually that goes for Mariah, Beyonce, etc. No one can be on top forever. With that said let Ms. Gaga enjoy her shine and time right now.

I am a LADY GAGA faaaaan & I must say SLAM IT! ugh….It makes me cringe to think of dissing my girl but I think she & her team have gotten a little to comfortable we need more edgy PAPER GANGSTA (featured on her latest album-THE FAME) kinda stuff I mean not exactly the same but com’ on GAGA I was waiting for this but NO MA’M!!! boo-hoo….maybe next time but you know after we are forced to hear something for so long our ears get adjusted maybe this will happen for this song because without catching me off guard this gets no lovin……lOl……
