October 15, 2009 New Music: Timbaland Ft. Shakira & Lil Wayne – Give It Up To Me
UPDATE: Supposedly this will be Shakria’s 2nd single and the track will appear on the US version of her album.
Timbaland’s highly anticipated Shock Value 2 is set to drop on November 24th, the same day as Shakira’s She Wolf is scheduled to hit stores. I’m not sure if this is set to be the lead single from Tim’s project, but I think it wouldn’t be a bad look for either one of them. Shakira’s vocals sound great over urban beats, and Timbaland’s production is consistent as usual. Lil Wayne’s feature is okay…but it’s typical Weezy.

HOTNESS!!! IT’s fiyah! Couldn’t expect anything less from Timbaland. Love the heavy drums and the overall feel to it. Great job Timbo! You’re my inspiration! Definitley gonna cop that album!

I like it!! I love me some Shakira, but I always have an issue with her when she sings in English. This sounds really good, the beat accompanies her voice really well

Sounds too much like Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscious” and “Give It To Me” part II….
You could actually substitute Lil Wayne saying “Nelly” at 0:40 instead of “Shakira” and it would work just as well.
