October 12, 2009 New Music: Michael Jackson – This Is It
Michael’s This Is It movie is still a few weeks away, but we now have the lead single from the documentary soundtrack. “This Is It” was recorded in 1991 for the Dangerous album, but it was never completed nor released. The track was completed with background vocals from his brothers. The song isn’t outstanding, but what I like about the song is that it’s pure, organic, Michael. Check out the track after the jump!

I’d have to disagree… It IS outstanding. I love it, his vocals are wonderful . I’ve been listening to it over an over non stop …I can’t wait for the documentary…. R.I.P Michael Jackson

That song isn’t from the early 90s. His voice had a lot of zest in the early 90s.
It sounds like it was recorded after the Invincible album. I know my Michael.

i want to see the movie so bad. i hate that i never got a chance to see the man perform live .

Its a sweet tune and the brothers background fill it in nicely…I hope they find a way to re-produce his singles. Like I jus found his tune Street Walker…thats my jam! Ive had it on repeat for weeks now! So…Im hoping jus cuz hes gone…his music doesnt have to be.

he sounds good! the backing vocals are great also.
