Pharrell Williams posted a pic on his blog where he is seen rocking a Hermès Crocodile Skin Hoodie Jacket. The brand, mostly known for their luxurious handbags, has an extensive collection of menswear which includes shoes, belts, ties and more. The croc jackets range between $18,000 to $75,000.

I hope that Pharrell received that jacket for free because if he paid between $18,000 – $75,000 for that mess…then he’s a damn fool! I hope as a black man he’s much wiser than to spend all that money on that ugly mess because, you have money-doesn’t mean to be foolish with it. There’s to many deserving poor black kids who can’t afford to attend college where that money could’ve gone to.

I like it, Plus its pharrell’s money. He works hard for it, Doesn’t mean he can’t splurge every now and then. He does alot of charity work so just because he bought one expensive jacket doesn’t mean anything. Are you guys going in on B for her thousand dollar shoes. Which Im sure all together she has thousands of dollars worth of shoes. They work hard for there money, let them spend it how they want to.

Pharrell is a grown ass man with a grown ass bank account lol …how can you tell someone how to spend their money??? …ANNNNND out of a lot of people in the industry he is the only one ive seen who repeats outfits….regardless that joint ji decent looking…he rockin it well

I like it, I wouldn’t pay that much but I like it it’s simple and Pharrell always looks fresh. If this was RiRi or Mariah you all would be gushing all over it

Yeah he can do with his money what he wants, granted. But during these economic times it just feels so wasteful not to mention it embarrasses me that this is what people overseas think we Americans do with our money, I can’t think of any piece of clothing I’d spend such a ridiculous amount on, even with all the money in the world. So if we see his ass filing for bankruptcy a few years down the line, we’ll know why cause this simple little item set him back 18-75k. He could have bought some MJ memorabilia for that amount or any other item of cultural and a(n) historical significance if not a house for someone who lost theirs to Hurricane Katrina. So many things! Unless you really even look at it (forgetting that it is Hermès) his hoodie looks hardly worth the outlandish price tag. Maybe he rented the shit, who knows.

the jacket is nice… but i don’t believe it should be worth that much.. even if i had the money i still wouldn’t spend that much money on a jacket.. but i would have brought a pair of “LANVINS” lol they are expensive but not in the thousand.. and if pharrell brought that then he was the fool.! it was his money not mines..

I still remember how Oprah was treated in Hermes some time again. They just saw a black woman at the door and refused her entry. Little did they know that was Oprah herself about to drop a bag of loot down in their store. I guess that was the day Oprah got the memo that she was truly a black woman. Yet Pharrell parade around sporting that tired azz Hermes jacket, like he just won the Nobel Peace prize. Why wonder black people are consider fools in this society. @ Appollom – your a wise poster and I like what you said about the bankruptcy in a few years. From the bloggers comments you can easily tell who are the young & dumb and the wise and level-headed. They are two worlds apart…

It more than likely was not free. A gift maybe but not free. Hermes isn’t one of those companies which needs to gift celebrities because they don’t need to advertise. And the jacket is by order only. Stop chasing the dream and be it.

How can you call this man ignorant for buying an expensive jacket. Keep in mind the subject when you speak. You’re not talking about someone that works at Ralph. He makes millions and millions of dollars per month. An expenditure like this is nothing. Your $750 is his $750,000. So let him enjoy his money.
