The new movie that has everyone talking, Precious (based on the novel Push by Sapphire) had its big premiere Sunday night at The New York Film Festival and the red carpet lit up with the stars including Mariah Carey, Paula Patton, Lenny Kravitz, Gabourey Sidibe, Jane Fonda and a few others. This movie is going to be great. -and inspiring I imagine. I was very moved when I saw the extended version of the preview at the movie theater. Can’t wait. All the stars look fab at the premiere.

Where is Mo’Nique? She has not been promoting this movie. From what I’ve read, she is demanding $100,000 per appearence to promote the movie and no one is offering the money, that’s why she hasn’t be promoting. I didn’t want to think that was true, but I’m starting to think so. If true, she is full of herself. She’s bigger in her mind that she really is.

@musicfan: You are so right about Mo’Nique. By all accounts she is giving an Oscar caliber performance in the movie. She should be proud and trying to promote it instead of making everything about profit. I mean, hell, Mariah Carey is one of the most famous/busy people on the planet but she is making time to promote “Precious” like crazy. It just isn’t adding up for me as to why Mo’ isn’t putting int he work. Bet Oprah and Tyler are pissed. LOL

Mariah is touched…I know I will get backlash from this but…something in the milk isn’t clean…the whole 90’s look again, always strugglin to look 25, and what the hell I know they make clothes IN YOUR SIZE! Awful, it really takes away from her public persona. I just can’t take her seriously…

Paula Patton looks amazing. Love her. I cannot wait for this movie. The book is already crazy. I hope the movie gives us the same zest.
