September 30, 2009 Music Spotlight: The Queen Project
Tamia, Kelly Price, and Deborah Cox had come together to form a new female super-group The Queen Project. It’s been entirely too long since we’ve heard any new material from both Tamia and Kelly (Deborah Cox released an album last year) and I’m super duper excited to hear what they have in store. While no full music is available yet, the trio has released an interview where you can hear a small preview of their debut single “Queen”. All three ladies look absolutely splendiferous!
Hit the jump to see the interview!

OMG!!!!! My three favorite artist together on one album! Sweet! You guys should do a quadret with india arie…..that would be a treat. That song was a tease…I’m already searching and hoping someone had the whole song on youtube. I am going to make this my wake up song and listen to it while i’m getting ready for my day. I am so excited about this….seriously! I love you Queens!

im really excited for them.. looking at this video makes me sad at the talent we push away and the crap that is shoved down our throats.. the state of rnb is full of non singing kids with nothing to talk about.. and im only 21 yrs old, but I remember being young and gravitating to the brillant rnb music of the 90’s, just didn’t get better.. i will be buying this album for sure.. get my momma a copy too.
ps. I know Shanice is pist she wasn’t invited to be apart of this.. she be posting her youtube videos hoping somebody will hear her but she still aint be snatched up..
