September 23, 2009 New Video: Amerie – Heard Em’ All
After the first single from Amerie’s In Love & War project failed to make an impact, she decided to turn up the heat and bring us this hot, super sexy video for “Heard Em’ All”. This is the first time I can recall seeing Amerie play into her sexuality. I mean, she’s always been naturally sexy, but I feel like with this video she took it up a notch or two and I love it! Everything in this video from the choreography to the lighting was just pure sexiness.

She punched!! I love my girl, but “Why R U” was just introducing her to being back, like a buzz single. That’s y it was never performed or had a high budget like this vid. Cause “Why R U” got people talkin about her again, just not a hit. But, yeah

I LOVE her energy and she seems like a sweet girl, but there is nothing distinctive about this girl. The only thing distinctive about her is her name. Her voice is so ordinary. If I heard her voice and didn’t see the video, I wouldn’t know who it was. She sounds like Ciara, Rihanna, Cassie, Aaliyah, etc; she sounds like everybody else. She has no distinctive look. I just wish somebody cared about whether or not she’s successful and knew how to market her. What does she bring to the table, that nobody else is bringing?

@ Amy I kinda agree with u, She needs to find her style, took Rihanna 3 Albums but she did it. I think they should push her asian side more. THeres not to much of that in the Hip-Hop R&B industry

Please the video is so dope and the song is on some ole new sh*t. Amerie is the bomb and took things to a HIGHER level. Some of these other chicks in the game can learn a thing or 2 from her originality!

The mistake was made on her first album. The second single should have been “I Just Died”. That was the hottest song on an album that was dope. And she actually has a really good voice. If they had of hit the radios with that single she’s instantly established as one of the top singers in that class of Rihanna, Beyonce, and Ciara.

wow. i have been trying very hard to be an Amerie fan for a while (don’t ask me why- maybe it’s the mom in me). that one song, what was it? oh yeah, 1 thing. lol.
i believe that she has mad potential. she can also pull of the sexy. but, this video found me looking for it. i get what they were trying to do. for some reason, i think she deserves it. hmm…agree with Amy.
she is still cute & hot & in the game. i wish her well.

I just loved it! It was on point fashion forward and Mad Maxish. This girl has mad talent and the album sampler on Def jams website is letting you all know what’s in store for everyone with this album here. I love the cut with her and Trey Songz and the Higher cut she will get her props with this album In Love & War.

You know what… I think we expect more from her, but on the real if this was Beyonce or Rihanna doing this people would be all over it. Amerie can sing she has a better voice than 95 % of the ” Entertainer’s,” out here today. There is no real artists out here. Rihanna is industry made. When she first came out ,that’s who she was. Then again she has no talent. Well she can dress. I like Amerie, but there is something missing.
